we have heard back from Newcastle and Exeter so now just waiting for others

@Tripadvice I think they are working their way through…we only heard on Friday

We were one of the first to hear from SGUL, I’m sure it’s luck of the draw. From what I’ve read the first of us are a mix of UCAT scores, @Tripadvice , so it’s not as if they’re starting at the ‘top’.

@Notcontent we are still waiting to hear from QMUL for an interview invite.

Ds has now heard from all 4, he will be all done by Christmas. And then the next period of waiting will begin

DD has just got an interview from Aberdeen so they are coming out now.

@Mumofboys2006 I think it's just luck of the draw, and the unis he applied to have all been quite quick to start offering interviews. It's good to get things over before Christmas as his prelims are in January so he will need to focus then.

@OwlMother are they Scottish unis by any chance? They were massively ahead of their English neighbours last year!

Three are, so that makes sense. He is in the first ( virtual ) interview right now.

Yeah, dd's interview offers are all from Scottish unis - first interview tomorrow, one next week and one just before Christmas

Just heard from UEA - interview in January!

We are still waiting for rejection/interview from KMMS (ucat) and Lancaster (bmat). We've had acknowledgement from both, so I guess it's a waiting game.

Interview at Sheffield at the beginning of December.

She only applied for 3 med schools but has 2 offers for Biomedical science (Kent and CCU).

DD has been a little evasive about BMAT results - she said it was really hard!

Re the BMAT, absolutely everything I’ve read indicates it was super challenging.

Oh that's positive then! If everyone thought it was super hard this time. She's very hard on herself so it's always tricky to know I'd she's genuinely found something hard or is just giving herself silly expectations.

@rosesinmygarden my dd said the BMAT was really hard too - harder than all the practice papers she had done.

Still waiting for all 4 of dd's unis - one is Liverpool so we're not expecting anything from them till January, based on past performance!
