Results Day and UCAS

Eldest DD is expecting A level results on 15th so this is my first experience of UCAS. She seems to think her results will go to UCAS before they are emailed to her by her school, and so she will find out if she has made her offer by checking her UCAS account. She also thinks this happens at midnight. Can anyone confirm any of this, please?

Just had a text to say DSS has got in to his first choice. Smile. So pleased for him. Fingers crossed for those still waiting to hear.

DS appeared in my bedroom at 07-40 to tell me he got into his only choice ( Greenwich ) so it doesn't matter what his grades are .
He's been on Facebook to his friends and they will all go down to school later

Can anyone please help?
Ds hasn't got the results his offers (for 1st choice or insurance) were made on, but we've come back from collecting results at exam cntre to find he has recieved UCAS track letter saying 'unconditional offer (firmly accepted)' from 1st choice, and also 'unconditional offer held as insurance' for insurance uni. He's also recieved a UCAS email confirming place and informing him that he's exceeed his offer conditions and may be eligible for adjustment.

Does this mean he impressed enough at interview (both did like him) they revised his offers to unconditional without telling him, (what he's praying) or does it mean there's been a clerical error?

Sorry should have said he hasn't exceeded offer conditions, but letter says he has. Very confused.

It may be that they need to speak to him about his ums (or something) so he should make sure he has all his AS/A2 broken down results and his personal statement to hand (according to The Student Room website)

You poor thing - so stressful.

Keep trying. They do day it's the student they want to speak to not the parent - but I bet you knew that anyway.

ds got his first choice of Bristol but is upset his best mate didnt. She didnt get the expected grades much to everyones shock so they are both upset as they'd planned to go in the same hall. So I'm pleased for him obviously but gutted for her. No idea if she'll get in through clearing. Poor girl was evicted half way through her A levels and her family ended up in a B&B.

Lovely to hear so much good news.

Ds didn't get his grades but his Track status hadn't been updated which we knew was his cue to phone the admissions office. They have made him an offer on a different but very similar course which he is delighted about and has accepted. Sooooo my ds is off to Southampton University to study Oceanography.

Very, very proud mother here. Glass of Moet anyone - we have opened a bottle!
