Healthy thread focussing on cock and cake finding the method that suits you whilst enjoying some cheery banter and googling obscene veg!

I am Mitts... hello xx

The gym and then I tidied.

When I say 'tidied' I mean I picked everything up off the surfaces, emptied the drawers, threw it all on the bed and then came downsatirs for "a quick break".

Needless to say - I have not been back upstairs since.

DreamsInBinary · 30/06/2010 23:28

Now off upstairs to throw everything on the floor and sleep.

Night all.

Morning

Another beautiful day here... another day of working extra...

DIB - I don't know tbh. For weeks now we have had something on every weekend and then DH was away last week. I am not sure if I feel a bit burnt out. Working extra this week and it being warm, I have not had the time and even if I did I haven't felt like doing any housework apart from the basics - I did clean while DH was away but everything needs doing again. I am really anal about cleaning and hate a dirty house and I feel my standards have slipped - this is probably secretly gnawing away at me. I think maybe I need to drop worrying over the small stuff. Perhaps you can all kick me up the ass

Morning all, 'sot isn't it? Phew!

Bella, don't sweat the small stuff as they say I won't kick you up the ass though, will you settle for an extra tight squidge?

I have some muffins today!

Ooh, muffin!

Morning all.

LizzyLOU · 01/07/2010 08:09

Good morning, hot isn't it?

Bella, please don't sweat the small stuff, you are working extra, in this heat, last thing you need to worry about is housework me lovely.
I bet your house is like a palace compared to mine!

Norma, no muffin but a very big, very strong coffee would be lovely.

Lovely break to look forward to, Double. Why did you all sleep in your clothes, it is boiling!?

Got a bit of an easier day today, DS1 is going to friends after school and DS2 will be at Childminders until 5pm so I can work/shred a bit more.

I ache after the gym yesterday and I am drining so much water I have to get up twice every night to wee

I'll have a muffin cheers lovely Norma.. and a tea.

Morning all

How are all?

I ran last night, damn it felt good. About 8k and I did stop/start partly to push DD on her bike. I am going to enlist her as my personal trainer. There wasn't too much seismic wobbling so that felt good

I just want to say how really lovely you all are and how much I appreciate the sympathy, hugs and support. I'm glad I didn't stay away.

Sometimes just knowing people are there and care means a tremendous amount even if I have to get through a lot of this myself.
See you later, xx

Ooh, I'll shift your topsoil ID, I have a strange penchant for mundane manual labour...

Just miss the man for other less mundane tasks

I would rather not do manual labour OR dust. Or go to work today TBH. I'm sure it'll be fine when I get there but currently bleh.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 01/07/2010 09:17

Morning

As this is a healthy eating thread I'd better not mention the croissant with Nutella I had for breakfast.

Another sunny day today - I'd better make the most of it and get some laundry done.

Alicetheinvisible · 01/07/2010 09:56

Hello

Iggisonthesofa · 01/07/2010 10:02

Did somebody mention muffins??

It's DAY 1 of operation big-boy-pants here. Lots of sitting on loo so far but no pee.
Unlike Lizzy

jetcat · 01/07/2010 10:11

morning all

Good luck with the big boy pants Iggs - for a moment i thought you meant for you

Mittz - glad you enjoyed your run Hope you are feeling a little brighter

Who goes to the gym in this weather

Crispy - i tried to get mini into the water painting, she just looked at me like this and said 'but maammm, wheres the paint!' She just wouldnt get it and i eventually had to drag her out of the pool when she couldnt sit still for shivering

Good news from docs, Junior's blood tests all normal (phew) so she is back at docs on Monday for the pill!

But, i think i now have cystitis - thats the 'burn when pees' thing, yes? I have actually never had it before, so will have to check nhsdirect i think, as no idea if i need abs or not It bloomin hurts though

jetcat · 01/07/2010 10:12

just meant i would check the nhs website - i wouldnt be phoning for something as trivial as this

Iggi, you minx
I have to say when they start wearing pants, how cute do they look??? One plus side to potty training.

Jet, I don't look wonderful, far from it, but needs must, I had a lot of aggression to work off last night at the gym, which helped enormously.

It does sound like cystitis, am sure you can get some overcounter remedies and yes, Double is right, lots of water and cranberry juice. I have never had it, but my grandmother suffers with cystitis and always has cranberry juice in her fridge.

Iggisonthesofa · 01/07/2010 10:20

Now don't be doing anything rash, Double!
Good news about the results Jet.

jetcat · 01/07/2010 10:21

thanks guys, will add cranberry juice to the shopping list

I saw that your boys were winding you up Lizzy, hope they have settled down a little!

LizzyLOU · 01/07/2010 10:23

I won't see em until 5pm tonight Jet, so yes, all is well (for now!).

Oh, was meaning to tell you, your top you wore on the meetup was in a magazine in the style section as a musthave top!
You stylista!

Good news about Junior as well

wastingaway · 01/07/2010 10:27

Hello, I have shredded again.

Lots of exercising going on of late ladies, keep it up!

Drink lots of water.

Pants are exciting Iggi. I've been threatening to do potty bootcamp with DS, but I think it might be a bit early.

Good news for Junior Jet.

Right, I need to shower off the shred and get ready for our visit to Aunty's. Bye!!!!

DeFluffy · 01/07/2010 10:49

well, i'm back in the saddle so to speak and feeling very minxy with it i'll have you know
