So, here we are on the 63rd(?) thread...

Much intellectual discourse has been held...The big bang theory rewritten...thermodynamics hotly debated, the Election mused upon....

Alongside which, we coax, encourage, arse kick, tease, boost and cajole our way into a healthier lifestyle, with whatever 'diet' or exercise regime suits, and drinking more WATER (are we drinking our water ladies? )..

Please pay homage to our mascot as you enter the thread.

Anyway, where were we? The life and works of Aristotle I believe.....and over to you Total...

Bof - she may well have been, although the outfit didn't seem to be particularly conventional for a legal exec. It would explain how my solicitor exh managed to get himself an std though

(That was masterful regality - I managed to drop the boast that he was a solicitor AND the boast (!) that he had an std all in one post. I'm moving up to King status)

Defluff · 15/04/2010 12:04

Who is Calabthia's dad?Is it another single dad? [polishes thigh high boots before Shiny can jump in]

Defluff · 15/04/2010 12:10

MyCat - sorry it is here we go, not same place as you i don't think, very good though

TrillianAstra · 15/04/2010 12:13

DeFluff, why have you linked the infamous Cotswold Penguin Sanctuary?

jetcat · 15/04/2010 12:17

Bella - the shoes are gorgeous What is your total outfit like for June then? apologies if i have missed it>>

hi to the newbies

Mycat - i hope you dont mind me asking, but as we have lost just about the same, i was wondering what your goal weight is? I know i want to lose another 2 stone to get to BMI under 30 and then will reassess after that.

at defluff's thigh high boots

i am feeling quite pleased with myself today. After looking at juniors bed for the past 3 days i decided to give it a go at assembling it - bearing in mind DIY is not my strong point. It is now fully assembled, barring one screw that was missing and one that wont screw in fully (think it is the nut part that is dodgy). I think i will have to try and get a couple of spare parts tomorrow But, bed is up, made and withstood mini doing the bounce test. Can't wait for junior to see it And it looks lovely. Just the coving to do now (which i do need help with) so apart from that, i have done it all myself

Defluff · 15/04/2010 12:17

Trills - is it the same place???? I always thought that was slimbridge??

BattyKoda · 15/04/2010 12:23

Thank you everyone, and vinegar for the link!

Trillian - your right! I didn't intend to spend £30, my budget was £300, but this was The One! I would have paid anything for it!

wastingaway · 15/04/2010 12:27

Afternoon!

Welcome wastwinset.

Poor Finn and hope you aren't coming down with something else Vinny.

Bella, the shoes look lovely and you do have nice feet.

Well done on the DIY Jet. I put these things off for ever. Usually til we move.

Lovely dress Batty.

I've had philly and ham sandwich, babybel and tomato, plus yoghurt.

I'm now going to clean up as DS dropped an entire yoghurt in his lap.

Fleecy · 15/04/2010 12:37

bella love the shoes. How fabulous! You're obviously a lady of excellent taste!

What a beautiful dress batty. You must be very excited now! I carry my weight round the middle too - generally happy with the rest of me - so annoyingly hard to shift though. Grr!

lizzy thanks! I'm very proud of my kitchen as I spent a year planning it, researching it and sourcing the things I wanted cheaply enough! (Am obviously also proud of DC but had less control over how they turned out )

Skiing sounds fab. I've never tried it and, like Lizzy, always fancied a go.

I remember the penguins, although that was before my days here. Was rather more of a lurker then.

jet you make it sound so easy! I always get in a terrible grump doing anything like that.

DidEinsteinsMum · 15/04/2010 12:38

afternoon. Have been productive. Still being productive but going to go grab some lunch in a mo.

Did i see iggy earlier?

Hope all is well going to go be productive...

JuJusDad · 15/04/2010 12:42

Defluff - I have no idea who that was, and neither does Shiney.

Um.

As you were.

BattyKoda · 15/04/2010 12:48

Congrats to Iggy then on your recent wedding

Thank you Fleecy - getting very excited now yes, although more excited about the honeymoon I think . Tummy weight is rubbish, I loose it everywhere else first, including my boobs, annoyingly!

SlinkyGoober · 15/04/2010 12:52

Just had Sushi for lunch made with chicken instead of fish, it was yummy

then had half a 'eat smart' chicken and bacon sandwich pack

I feel stuffed! and only 6.5 points

TrillianAstra · 15/04/2010 12:59

I don't knoe if that's the penguin place, but it is in the cotswolds and has a pic of a penguin on it sfront page...

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 15/04/2010 13:00

Wasting i dont know if i am coming down with something else, i feel shitty pretty much constantly these days, tis probably just lack of sleep

Plus i still have a healthy appetite

BattyKoda · 15/04/2010 13:03

Sazzles you ran 10K?? Ran?

hellsbelles · 15/04/2010 13:04

morning all, still in a perpetual state of tiredness because of DD's illing. Vinny poor you and Finnister...sorry you've got that too.

Bella - you really are doing so well with the weight loss...don't worry about the weekend. It's easy for you to refuse the carbs (especially when it's steak and salad ) and those shoes are amazing...I wish wish wish I could wear shoes like that. I did lol at your 'carry on window cleaner' episode though.

lucky Ted - that is such a brilliant thing for him to get to do.

Lizzy - has tory beetch made a visit to you yet?!

Wasting my goodness you were right about series 5...I can hardly catch my breath it's so good.

Iggi - welcome back Mrs!

Batty - that is such a beautiful dress.

Trills - are you packed yet? I'm so you are going to get gorgeous and brown (well you are already gorgeous) you lucky thing.

Mitts- I wonder if there will be in any JS lookalikes in Manchester! I'm sure we'll find some. He is rather 'manly'

hellsbelles · 15/04/2010 13:05

oh forgot to ask. What is the deal with piles? Do they just go? I have them I think and wondering if I need to go to the drs.

Fleecy · 15/04/2010 13:11

Hells - my DH will not thank me for this but he had them, put anusol on them and they cleared up.

Defluff · 15/04/2010 13:13

bof - i posted something the other day re membership fees and tobacco. Wasn't aimed at you but suddenly thought 'argh she was on same thread and i have a weird slight remembrance that she may be a smoker' so, its probably my ocd, but - I wasn't talking about you. [feel better now]

hellsbelles · 15/04/2010 13:14

ha ha! Thanks Fleecy. Will get some

Defluff · 15/04/2010 13:19

or preparation h suppositories although my friend found that they made me her a little inclined to diarwhatsit can't spell.

Lizzylou · 15/04/2010 13:20

No Tory beeatch yet, Hells
Told DH and he laughed his socks, what makes really unfriendly, rude and thoughtless people think they represent their local community? Mind boggles.

Have to get moving, still have some tidying to do and then can get off to see boys.

Oh, I have put a link on FB, but will link here as well, on Sunday DH, myself and the boys are doing a 5km team swimathon, please sponsor us if you can.
