So, here we are on the 63rd(?) thread...

Much intellectual discourse has been held...The big bang theory rewritten...thermodynamics hotly debated, the Election mused upon....

Alongside which, we coax, encourage, arse kick, tease, boost and cajole our way into a healthier lifestyle, with whatever 'diet' or exercise regime suits, and drinking more WATER (are we drinking our water ladies? )..

Please pay homage to our mascot as you enter the thread.

Anyway, where were we? The life and works of Aristotle I believe.....and over to you Total...

Sex towel?

Actually, that reminds me of something we bought a couple of years ago- will have to dig it out...

Shan't go into Mallish detail though, but it was very handy. Not sure why it got retired really.

DreamsInBinary · 19/04/2010 23:00

Bitter - what is your nickname of choice, please?

(Am still laughing at your stream of conscientiousness, btw)

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 19/04/2010 23:04

DIB, do you mean shortened version of posting name?

If so, Bitter is just fine

ClaudiaSchiffer · 19/04/2010 23:05

Bof?!?

Slugbrains · 19/04/2010 23:08

Because it does. have fb various people. should have gone to pub but couldnt face. i am drained.

I think i have discovered the ice hockeys boys who have ulterior motives. it was very leary tonight. conversation did not leave much to the imagination. Chickened out of the pub although there were girls going so it would have calmed down a bit. going to do something, or nothing or just be.

wastingaway · 19/04/2010 23:11

Confused me there Claudia, tis Twinset's daughter with the initiative. I have no DD. Though if/when I do, we may call her Audrey and I hope she is as bold and industrious as Twinsets.

Though, if you'll pardon a boast, DS has shown fantastic initiative in sentence-building today, when I asked where his car was told me it was 'under broom'.

I do love knitting.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 19/04/2010 23:13

As for the stream of concscienctiousnessnesss, I could go on all day, as ds does

'Mummy, I've had a lovely day, my favourite bit at school was that we didn't do learning. Instead, we had daniel and he told us we had to walk in a circle and then I made a thing with the circles. You know mummy, the turney circles and I made a thing. Andit turned and turned. You know Mummy, like Daniel from poppy zoom [sic]'

DreamsInBinary · 19/04/2010 23:16

Do you know, reading that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling

Which is odd, because when DS does it I feel anything but

(Must get more 's in, just for DeFluff. Where is Defluff?)

wastwinsetandpearls · 19/04/2010 23:16

She is certainly industrious but also opinionated and has endless energy.

She has some stable work and fruit picking lined up and wants to earn £20 in a weekend which is a lot of money for an 8 year old. When she found out she had got work she phoned me and said "let the good times start rolling in!"

She has asked if she can make fliers to go up in the local pub and church advertising her services

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 19/04/2010 23:20

Ooh, claudia, was looking earlier and can definitely recommend 'Bad Luck and Trouble', 'The Hard Way' and 'Die Trying'.

I mostly get them from the library so no idea whay order they are in.

I heart Jack Reacher

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 19/04/2010 23:23

oh, and just for Defluff

wastingaway · 19/04/2010 23:23

Twinset, that's so wonderful. I hope she can keep hold of that positive attitude as she grows older.

wastingaway · 19/04/2010 23:25

Perhaps Defluff has custody of the sex towel.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 19/04/2010 23:29

Still at sex towel - may I take this moment to remind you all that I am, basically a prude

Slugbrains · 19/04/2010 23:33

Ok So who is starting the new thread its getting tight. 9 more posts to go. Plleaase dont make me do it.

wastwinsetandpearls · 19/04/2010 23:36

Me too, both her father and I have a strong can do work ethic, hopefully it has been passed down.

wastingaway · 19/04/2010 23:42

wastingaway · 19/04/2010 23:49

Goodnight!

BitOfFun · 19/04/2010 23:51

Oh bugger- I will see which has more replies and ask them to delete the other one, ok?

BitOfFun · 19/04/2010 23:58

Ooh, it's neck and neck. I'm pulling rank then, wasting and saving mine

But only because it takes me bloody ages to load our thread and I feel that staying up later gives me dibs

I've asked them to delete yours- but you have to do the next one, ok?

wastingaway · 20/04/2010 00:01

That's fine BoF.

Yours got the essential info in re: TWC.
