So, here we are on the 63rd(?) thread...

Much intellectual discourse has been held...The big bang theory rewritten...thermodynamics hotly debated, the Election mused upon....

Alongside which, we coax, encourage, arse kick, tease, boost and cajole our way into a healthier lifestyle, with whatever 'diet' or exercise regime suits, and drinking more WATER (are we drinking our water ladies? )..

Please pay homage to our mascot as you enter the thread.

Anyway, where were we? The life and works of Aristotle I believe.....and over to you Total...

No need for the blue face, I'm only moaning. We're very lucky in that we found somehting suitable later on for a similar amount of money and that our works are both flexible enough that we can go later on, assuming the skies are clear in a month's time. It would have been a lot worse for a lot of people.

DreamsInBinary · 18/04/2010 22:20

No, no, no to sunbeds

St Tropez spray tans are very good and can go as light/dark as you need.

Slugbrains · 18/04/2010 22:37

at dib playing mum.

DeFluff · 18/04/2010 22:39

Evening!

What DIB said.

DEfluff, Granny Murray is like an itch. Or a scab that you have to pick.

I will be having bacon sandwich in the morning, for DH going away (again) breakfast and then I'm eating healthily and logging everything with the Lord.

Got to go and try and get sleeping DS back inside his grobag before I retire for the night.
Apparently he can undo zips now.

Slugbrains · 18/04/2010 23:17

sorry dib you have a novel

Night defluff, and fromwhat it was worth i agree on agression. was a bit ott on other person part for not. seems a clicky group though.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 18/04/2010 23:20

Good MORNING everyone!

Mits, how depressing for you. Blardy ex sounds very difficult, and how sad for you to see him treat your delicious children with such disregard. Am on your behalf. Feel free to moan away, always happy to listen, although being on a toatally different timezone probably doesn't help you that much.

Shiney, how nice that the weekend went so well, and vegetables. Remarkable.

Trills NOOO to sunbeds, they are evil. Get a spray tan. So much less cancer involved.

Sazz what a farkin idiot of a dh , but bless him for fixing it, right?

DeFluff · 18/04/2010 23:21

Seriously slug, I'm just attracting fights everywhere I go at the moment. I think part of the stuff at home must be coming out in my posting style and I'm just antagonising people left right and centre. Bah. Tomorrow is another day night night

have come across a chap who seems nice (well he found me acksherly) he is saying all the right things ie. he a hopeless romantic who just wants to settle down, infact in his third message (after i told him more about me and what i like) he asked me to marry him (he was kidding of course)

he looks lovely in his pictures and is younger than me (bonus)

Just found out we work in the same area he wants to meet for coffee (when i am ready) how do i play this? shitting myself! its been so long since i even spoke to a guy i think i might just crumble and end up looking like a nob

DeFluff · 18/04/2010 23:25

We didn't get much sleep last night - my DD decided she was going to co-sleep. grrr. I have decided that ends, as of tonight.

Slugbrains · 18/04/2010 23:42

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/04/2010 23:50

Hello all - I promise I will be back to posting properly tomorrow. Looks like I've missed all the gossip!

Claudia - hello matey, we seem to keep missing each other lately!

Vinny - don't ask me, I think all men have an ulterior motive, and I dont trust anyone on tinternet - I think you are all probably a bunch of axe murderers

saf? (sorry if it wasn't you) Salcey is about 10 miles from me. I wasn't quite panicking but let's just say I was sizing up the cool bag we brought with us as a sleeping bag for DD

Lizzy - I still haven't done the shred was waiting until DS goes back to school.

Mitts - glad you rebooked your hols

Shiney - sounds like you had a good weekend.

Oh, and we missed the bloody tree-top walk! Got too lost.

Anyone I've missed, not intentional. Thank god the kids are back at school tomorrow
