So, here we are on the 63rd(?) thread...

Much intellectual discourse has been held...The big bang theory rewritten...thermodynamics hotly debated, the Election mused upon....

Alongside which, we coax, encourage, arse kick, tease, boost and cajole our way into a healthier lifestyle, with whatever 'diet' or exercise regime suits, and drinking more WATER (are we drinking our water ladies? )..

Please pay homage to our mascot as you enter the thread.

Anyway, where were we? The life and works of Aristotle I believe.....and over to you Total...

Coffee this week mits? have to be back for 2:45pm but if you have a quieter day it would be possible.

Alicetheinvisible · 18/04/2010 18:42

Mitts you are doing well

Sazzles - bugger, hope it is ok

Well today i have eaten

Breakfast - banana and raisin pancakes and tropical juice

Lunch - pint of water, half a bag of crisps, tuna pasta with sweetcorn

Afternoon - sweeties and last bit of easter eggs

Dinner - pint of full fat coke, roast chicken, new potatoes and green beans with low fat butter.

Not great, but not too bad either. Would kill for a G&T

Slugbrains · 18/04/2010 18:44

jjdad - glad you had a lovely weekend.

Sazz- that is true crap. hope the car is ok.

I have been busy this afternoon but am on my 4th ltr of coke not sure quite how that happened but i now have a tidy car inside and clean outside, with topped up oil and washer fluid. A nearly tidy bedroom and i am working my way through mount wash more. SO very productive afternoon. Ds is just going down. so enjoy. i may or may not come back. Productively bouncing now.

TrillianAstra · 18/04/2010 18:47

Mitts you shouldn't have him back, manipulative fucker.

Just about to make soupy noodles for dinner.

Well done on drinking that pint of water Alice

Alicetheinvisible · 18/04/2010 18:54

Thanks, i also had a fruit corner yoghurt and half an apple that i forgot to list. I am very proud of myself

Are you going to find another door rack for the kitchen? Have you looked in the bathroom section?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 18/04/2010 19:12

Thanks... yes Slug... I think thursday would be the best day, if that suits you.

He is Trills, but it does my head in how brilliant he was with his DS's. And yet DD and DS it can be really crap. They are very full on where as his other two were 'meek' by comparison.

Oh buggeration. I don't know what to do. I shouldn't have to referee their relationship should I? I am getting fed up of being on call when it is their time with him because things blow up, DS is always saying he doesn't want to go and I don't want to force him, But do need a break and I think their relationship will just crumble in the end. It is not my 'responsibility' but it breaks my heart. It really does. And now it is kicking off with DD.

JuJu.. you and Shiney give me a warm glow though. Can I give you a quick hug? I like it when things go well for people and it makes me slushy.

Food.

Greggs sausage roll.
Carrot cake.
Latte.
Redbull.
Banana.
Ham sandwich.
1 slice cheese on toast.
Two digestives.
Large glass berry smoothie.
I am comfort eating aren't I?

That sounds like a normal day for me Mitts (hence the smugness of what i have eaten today) Tomorrow is monday, start over, go for plenty of walks and bike rides as it makes you happy. You deserve to be happy

Slugbrains · 18/04/2010 19:28

Sounds good mitts. will sort finer details out off board.

yes to comfort eating but not too much.

Am not here am being busy. Got stuff to do. A long list. feeling a bit flat. it really is a small world Am i think that I am being to feel the effect of burn out as well. Will suffer as predicted by the wonderful Alice. Going to try to finish what wanted to do tonight and probably give the skating a miss tomo.

DeFluff · 18/04/2010 19:32

Resding and writing while catching up. And yes I know it was the shortest flounce ever, I was just getting all stressy about talking to daftyp but now have got my head sorted. Was having problems with my own DP which wasn't helping. Thank you for all the advice on the other thread by the way.

Mitts - your work is beautiful, I hope you are very proud of yourself.

Wasting - am hoping the Granny Murray love was sarcastic. That woman scares the shit out of me and the thought of her mid sex could lead DP to 'softeness', and no, I have never questioned why he was thinking of Granny Murry mid sex.

Oh Mitts, Alice is right you do deserve to be happy, and your DC deserve to be treated well. It is so complicated, isn't it? Does he even know he does it? Ex, I mean?

Trills, so pleased you can still go on hols.

We swam the 5km, boys were fab, they came in towards the end and swam loads, was so proud of them, we must have looked a picture with our bright green swimming caps on (provided by Swimathon, we're not the Vonn Trapps of anything). We then ate lots of chinese food and ice cream. Oops.

bellavita · 18/04/2010 19:41

Don't let him bully you

I had a few grapes this morning for breakfast and the lunch was

steak, salad, new potatoes, green beans with garlic and some lovely olive bread (I did not have any bread and only 2 small potatoes) a piece of berry studel with cream, 1 espresso after dinner mints (did not have any of these either)

1 snowball drink and 1 glass of red wine

I feel the need to have "something" now but not sure what?

I may have some cereal with a sliced banana or do you think if I am only a bit hungry perhaps just leave it until the morning?

Glad you came back DeFluff . There was a thread a while back with a link to Granny Murray in a Scottish TV drama topless

I've been dipping in over the weekend, and have lots of things to say to lots of people, but have forgotten most of them, sorry. From what I do remember:

Trill - disappointing about your flight, but glad you seem to have it all in hand. My sister is/was off to Sharm el Sheikh Thursday, but even that is looking doubtful.

Lizzy - - well done to you and your boys on the swim

Mits - you are doing so well, and under very challenging circumstances. ExH could never deserve you.

Iggi - tell us more about the wedding, please!

Claudia - I do love having our very own international correspondant

DEM - are you going to twll us more about why ice-skating has suddenly become so much more exciting? I may be barking up the wrong tree, but...does he have a name

Wasting - disappoiting about the gain, but it must surely be water/time of month/something. Don't be disheartened!

SAF - I know what you mean about the 'community parenting' thing. There are places/houses I visit where that is the norm and it feels so right and so, so much easier.

VT - what type of dream about Shiney & JJD ??!

Alice - did you enjoy the fruit? I go through phases of eating melon/pineapple by the bucketload, but it's not very filling so I have a bowl of cereal immediately afterwards.

WasT&P - BBQ fruit, greek yog and honey sounds divine, and like something you would eat on hols.

Hells - I hope your tanning was safe

Jet - congrats on the essay, must be a weight of your mind I saw your post a few days ago about how much you have lost - amazing. Are you still considering home ed?

Fleecy - DS (nearly four) an eater and a bolter so no chance of leaving him outside alone, alas.

Sazz - what a shitty piece of luck. Will you leave DH to deal with it all?

Tracey - can I have a slice? Please

Bitter - was getting lost funny? Or did you start to get a bit panicy and have visions of Blair Witch Project flashing before your eyes?

Bella - your Dad sounds like a sweetie

Fanny - the Dix place was in The Times' Top 20 places to eat by the sea yesterday. Have you managed to rearrange with MrsW?

JJD - you had time to eat?!
Glad fun was had

Shiney - you ate cous cous and green stuff?!

DreamsInBinary · 18/04/2010 20:05

Hahahahaha at JuShi. Love it

Slugbrains · 18/04/2010 20:15

Have had some fruit and fibre cereal with a sliced banana and skimmed milk. Small bowl full.

Sazz, am glad your car is ok.

Lizzylou · 18/04/2010 20:30

Big belly laughs for JuShi and for Dib's fab round up.

Hope you get your car sorted, Sazz, rather, hope DH does.

I think I am massively overestimating my calories burned today, but hey ho.

Vinny, when your Mom starts work, will she get discount in the food hall? Because we bought a pack of Fig compote mix (posh packaging, you just added orange juice and honey and boiled/simmered/reduced) and my God it was amazing. We had it with some lovely Vanilla ice cream. The boys lapped it up. Think it was £3.75 but it was sooo worth it and you can make it up and then keep it in the fridge for as when you need it.

We will be farting a lot tomorrow I think, with all those figs

bellavita · 18/04/2010 20:34

Can you imagine how much I have done Lizzy with all the blardy veg stir fries I have eaten over the last two weeks

Lizzylou · 18/04/2010 20:36

Oh, I've noticed, Bella.
Am only an hour away
