slug out of interest what age group were you training to teach?

When I trained we weren't allowed to use red pen, but that was with 7 yr olds.

We're just about to leave for a 40th birthday party in a pub for a mate of dh's. It starts at 2pm, girls have a babysitter. I'm due to be all responsible and be home by 4.30, dh will scream in totally legless about 3am I expect .

Nope red pen is essential in secondary teaching. Apparently you are not a proper teacher if you dont have a red pen. it is in primary school where is has been banned.

Claudia was training to each 11-16yo chemistry, biology and physics and 16-18yo Biology.

wrt outnumbered - you wont be able to access iplayer outside of the uk, it is blocked due to the licensing rules. Sorry. that is probably not much help.
