So, here we are on the 63rd(?) thread...

Much intellectual discourse has been held...The big bang theory rewritten...thermodynamics hotly debated, the Election mused upon....

Alongside which, we coax, encourage, arse kick, tease, boost and cajole our way into a healthier lifestyle, with whatever 'diet' or exercise regime suits, and drinking more WATER (are we drinking our water ladies? )..

Please pay homage to our mascot as you enter the thread.

Anyway, where were we? The life and works of Aristotle I believe.....and over to you Total...

Gosh - its such a gorgeous day!

Whizzed into town to get Bea's passport photo done and she looks very sweet in it.

We're off out for dinner tonight so have sat and done nails in the garden and of course ds2 wanted his painted too. My ds's are very in touch with their femine sides .

Bella - glad you've got sitter booked - have you decided where you're going out?

Hells - ouch for your DS!

Lizzy - do you have a date when you'll be able to leave this job and just concentrate on your own business? A schoolmum friend has a recruitment business which is very succesful - she is lovely and very good at promoting herself. I therefore always imagine you are like her

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 17/04/2010 16:02

Hello all, just a quick post and run before I go to work.

Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine, I have been very good today, and just eaten a prawn salad sandwich.

I am still yet to begin the evil shred [scared] But I'm on my feet at work all evening.

I usualy rack up about 4 or 5 miles walking so that should count for something

Have a good evening ladies, I'll try and check in after work.

bellavita · 17/04/2010 16:13

Tracey - just into York. But great minds think alike, I sat in the garden and did my nails too! I bought a lovely Jessica hot pink colour on Tuesday and I have now got matching toenails and fingernails. I usually buy OPI but in Fenwicks they don't have a huge amount of colours and the Jessica ones looked so much more summery.

You have been busy Vinny.

I feel really bloated . Have got my leggings on with a dress/tunic and it feels a bit tight around the old tummy and it isn't usually like that.

Hope work goes well for you tonight Bitter.

Went for a lovely cycle ride to a pub which has yummy soup for lunch, now DP is asleep on the sofa.

Nail painting sounds like a good idea, I have a nice oyster-shell sort of colour that I think I'll put on in a bit.

What is this shred thing again? An exercise DVD?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 17/04/2010 16:46

evil shred

Right, I really am off to work

hellsbelles · 17/04/2010 17:10

apart from Lizzy stuck with the twits it sound like we've all had a proper day of this sunshine. And the forecasters weren't even that optimistic!

Slug - just enjoy your time. How lovely that DS and her chap are keeping him happy and entertained. You deserve a break for goodness sake.

Bella - so glad you have the date sorted. Bet DH will be pleased.

Better go do supper. Feeling knackered but in that good 'I've been in the sun so I'm a bit woozy' way.

VinegarTits · 17/04/2010 17:12

i think it goes up to aged 4 SAF, ds2 is 4 in july and still fits in it, but we havent used it in ages as he likes to walk every where now

let me know if you want it?

i have washed the car inside and out! feeling very good about getting 3 big jobs done today

Bella is it water retention? or maybe you need a big poo?

Slugbrains · 17/04/2010 17:41

We have a lovely afternoon sat on the hill painting our house.

Have come home and had the couscous and veg salad from WW magazine and on of their fruit salads. Delicious.

Have an evening of ironing ahead of me.

WW magazine bought, some lovely recipes to try there.

Have had homemade burgers and salad. Lovely, wine is chilling and no Saturday job for me for 2 weeks!! Am off to Worcester for a girlie day/night out next week.

Trills, I think I may have missed it, but are you still going away? My Mom is due to fly to Sharm el Sheik on Monday, but the travel agent has told her it will be cancelled. She is OK though as as long as she rebooks within 30 days she'll not pay extra.

Can't believe poor Yank's luck.

Slugbrains · 17/04/2010 19:02

Who was it that had the susi recipe, was there a link?

Truely shocking luck. bad enough the illness before travel but it be stuck mid transist... horrid. Hope she is ok! Really missing her chat.

Enjoy having work free weekends lizzy.

Twinset - hope your ironing doesnt take all evening!

wastwinsetandpearls · 17/04/2010 19:04

The sushi recipe was from WW magazine, I will type it on here for you.

TrillianAstra · 17/04/2010 19:17

Not sure yet Lizzy, we're waiting on the travel agent's decision for Monday flights.

The annoying thing is that we're booked up for most of May and June with weddings and whatnot, so it'll be hard to find a week when we can rebook.

jetcat · 17/04/2010 19:54

evening all

Been very busy finishing off decorating - all done and just a tidy needed. Have had enough for today though

SAF - i am in the same boat as you i think re the pushchairs. My 3 year old also likes to walk everywhere but can't quite manage the long journeys yet. We have a fab pink stroller for those times

Scones Bella

Lizzy - did you put your feet up then?

fingers still firmly crossed for you Trills

Slugbrains · 17/04/2010 19:57

Sounds fabulous Jet. Bet it looks amazing.
