So, here we are on the 63rd(?) thread...

Much intellectual discourse has been held...The big bang theory rewritten...thermodynamics hotly debated, the Election mused upon....

Alongside which, we coax, encourage, arse kick, tease, boost and cajole our way into a healthier lifestyle, with whatever 'diet' or exercise regime suits, and drinking more WATER (are we drinking our water ladies? )..

Please pay homage to our mascot as you enter the thread.

Anyway, where were we? The life and works of Aristotle I believe.....and over to you Total...

Slugbrains · 16/04/2010 10:27

me vinny? i am no one. just slugs for brains right now. when they brains are less mushy i might become someone again.

Trill - i dont plan outfits. even if is for a wedding the earliest consideration will happen will be a week before event. Personally i might just go shopping on the morning of the 12th. or i might find inspiration in my wardrobe and fling something on.

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 16/04/2010 10:30

aww slug, of course you are somebody

i have fuzz for brains this morning, everything is a bit fuzzy

Slugbrains · 16/04/2010 10:34

I have failed i have an aibu and everyone is agreeing with me that's just not right

TrillianAstra · 16/04/2010 10:37

Agreeing that YABU, or just agreeing with you?

Slugbrains · 16/04/2010 10:39

just agreeing with me. aparantly I anbu.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 16/04/2010 10:44

Batty, I love that song but agree that it's a bit on the gloomy side.

I had this which sounds I love but is blardy poncy . Particularly as I got married in floor length blue sequins and fur in a country pub.

Slug, chin up love, I'll go and find your aibu and disagree with you loudly

Slugbrains · 16/04/2010 10:47

thanks vinny that'll teach me to reasoned and rational. there is just no place for it in aibu

good luck claudia.

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 16/04/2010 10:48

Someone please tell me what Iggi's song is?

Its not Suddenly by Angry Anderson is it?

ClaudiaSchiffer · 16/04/2010 10:51

If only it was Vinny.

It's Colourblind, by Counting Crows. Gorgeous song.

Oooo ooo oo I forgot to say I bought a red pair on these today. I am hoping that by the time I get to take them off today I will have legs and arse like the chick in the photos . Surely it can only be a matter of time.

TrillianAstra · 16/04/2010 10:52

That's a lovely song. I had a bit in my head the other day and couldn't remember what it was, just the voice.

BattyKoda · 16/04/2010 10:58

Do you think hearing it on a wedding day with lots of lovely flowers and cute noisy kids would make it sound less sad

Slugbrains · 16/04/2010 11:01

I love the fact that the image of a bloke goes with the caption "do your knees hurt, take the load off" whilst the ladies all have flattering comments about their legs.

wastingaway · 16/04/2010 11:07

Just off out for a walk into town, the three of us, and a picnic etc.

Sorry Batty, but that sounds quite sad. It took me ages to pick the walking down the aisle music, so I feel your pain.

Bye!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 16/04/2010 11:13

I used to play the Oboe, curiously haunting sound..

Yeah... lets go and crash Slugs thread and be arsey controversial....

Helloooo

Mitts - tell me what you do in your studio or I will stamp my feet Verucca Salt-like NOW! 9Anyone guess what I'm watching with dd right now?!)

TOCC - GIVE UP, GIVE UP, give upppppp, give upppppp (think irritating mother figure whispering in your ear)

off to aibu...........

MitsubishiWarrioress · 16/04/2010 13:01

I do this amongst other things DeFluff

I love the original version of The choc Factory.

I am perplexed as I haven;t got the JigSaw so couldn't do what I had planned until I see DC's Dad. (will be having custody battles over the power tools). I seriously want some pink power tools to go with my Pink tool kit......
And a tools belt and some pink steel toe cap boot.....

I think the Daisies went to my head....

BitOfFun · 16/04/2010 14:01

Hi everyone!

I need you all over here to campaign for out mascot to be immortalized

Iggi999 · 16/04/2010 14:03

I know I'm the first one you think of when you hear "wedding" (as have been banging on about it for 3 months) but it's not me who is having morose lovely Counting Crows song! 'tis Batty. I had Groovy kind of love (just the music). Can't remember why, but has a nice slow sound to it.

Iggi999 · 16/04/2010 14:05

I'd love to go to Brighton! One place I've never been. It only dawned on me today just before (thankfully) going in to open the curtains of my neighbour who is on holiday, that she is not in fact on holiday due to plane situation. I guess that is only funny if I had actually gone into house and seen something unfortunate. Will get a better story next time

Iggi999 · 16/04/2010 14:10

Off to make conversation with DP.
I am never ever EVER going to go back to work.

TrillianAstra · 16/04/2010 14:23

Just had a bacon sandwich for lunch. Tasty. Probably not that unhealthy.
