So, here we are on the 63rd(?) thread...

Much intellectual discourse has been held...The big bang theory rewritten...thermodynamics hotly debated, the Election mused upon....

Alongside which, we coax, encourage, arse kick, tease, boost and cajole our way into a healthier lifestyle, with whatever 'diet' or exercise regime suits, and drinking more WATER (are we drinking our water ladies? )..

Please pay homage to our mascot as you enter the thread.

Anyway, where were we? The life and works of Aristotle I believe.....and over to you Total...

Great resume Wasting. Surprised you're on MN though, get back to that bloke!
Am off to bed. Last time I looked at watch it was 11am. Where did the time go? (as Granny Murray's chums would say) ()

ClaudiaSchiffer · 16/04/2010 00:29

Night all x

We are off to my sils this morning then going to see The Gruffalo stage show. So exciting!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 16/04/2010 08:00

Morning all....

Hi GiGi...

I feel hungover.

I appear to have a little fluffy cloud for a brain this morning. Have bounced enthusiastically .

How are all? I keep getting bubbles of excitement about the 12th.

I'm off to sniff the Daisy's until my brain engages.... xx

Morning Mitts.

DS woke up early. Blah!

It smelled of eggs when I opened the window this morning. Blimmin' volcano.

I miss Granny Murray, wonder when they'll start showing it again?

BewareTheFullMoon · 16/04/2010 09:28

Sazzles - tis a very small world, i learned to drive in birghton and hove. Peacehaven hills were where i burnt out a clutch learning hill starts. Spent years down that way, and miss things like walking along the beach and devils dyke for walking / eating at the pub.

Going to try to be busy today. going to try to sort all the paperwork out. Going to try to not kill the boy.

I have slug brains and cba.

Hope you all have a good day.

BattyKoda · 16/04/2010 09:31

Either or Iggi

Lovely, a wedding abroad...wishing we did that now! We've got our honeymoon for a week without the DC's, can't wait but I'm dreading it in some ways! We are kinda sorted... finalising cake, flowers, photographer and bridemaid dresses this weekend, busy busy!

I have been wasting spending alot of time trying to pick music. Would you mind giving me your opinions actually (you seem like a sane bunch ) on this for when I walk down the isle? Is it a bit too 'sad sounding'?

Slugbrains · 16/04/2010 09:37

Actually this is a bit better....

MitsubishiWarrioress · 16/04/2010 09:38

You OK Slug?

OP posts:
MitsubishiWarrioress · 16/04/2010 09:41

I have to be honest Batty, I find it a little bit sombre but it depends on the feel you want for your wedding.... I got married in bright yellow and a yellow straw Boater so might be not the best person to ask...

Hi Sazz..

OP posts:
Slugbrains · 16/04/2010 09:41

no idea tbh.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 16/04/2010 09:46

Well, if it's any consolation, some of me is all right and some of me isn't. So I'm trying to ignore the bits that aren't. I am sticking my fingers in my ears and la-la-la-ing to them.

OP posts:
Slugbrains · 16/04/2010 09:48

I think it is going to take more then that today. might negotiate a babysitter later and go out.

hellsbelles · 16/04/2010 09:51

Trill's you'll be fine - your plane leave on time and arrive safely. Don't forget you did your cosmic ordering...so things can't possibly go wrong

Slugbrains · 16/04/2010 09:54

Bit of both. GOing out is full effort in my experience unless you are going to a rock or grunge club. depends where you go. as sensible grown ups i suspect dressy.

hellsbelles · 16/04/2010 10:00

thanks slug! I have to run now - see you all later.

TrillianAstra · 16/04/2010 10:11

So the friend whose new house I went to visit last night is less than 10 miles for Luton - I have checked and we can stay on her futon to be v close to the airport if we have delays - although we have to clear the spare room of the moving-in junk

Thanks Hells - maybe all the crappy planes will be busy catching up on today's flights so we'll get upgraded to a super swish plane (that still leaves at the right time).

I am not planning my outfit for a meetup in June when it is only April. Only weddings get that special treatment I'm afraid!

BattyKoda · 16/04/2010 10:11

I don't want a sombre wedding I know that much MitsubishiWarrioress

Have started a thread on it

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 16/04/2010 10:17

morning, i am starving! i have ran out of porridge but proud that i didnt give in to a bacon butty

I need to buy some scales this weekend as i don feel like i have lost a couple of lb, i was looks at my writsts last night and they are very slim and small boned, so i think i have the potential to be waif like

who are you slug? you me when you name change

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 16/04/2010 10:19

Im with you Trill, i will plan my June outfit the day before (depending on whats clean )

ClaudiaSchiffer · 16/04/2010 10:19

Hi all

Sazzles I grew up in Cheltenham, and moved to Brighton - Hove actually when I was 19 ish (1989) So we may well have crossed paths! Zap club 1989 I was the one with bleached hair and red lippy (me and 10000 others )

We went to see The Gruffalo today - stage show from Lunnon - has anyone seen it?? It was FANTASTIC! Quite fancied the snake? What would Freud think of that?

TrillianAstra · 16/04/2010 10:20

Somber? Who wants that? I don't even want my funeral to be somber. Not that it matters, I won't be there.

Slug is, erm, probably the one with a genius child, who usually goes by initials?

Scales are fun Vinny, good if you are impatient. Or else you could just wait and go 'ooh, all my clothes are too big'

MitsubishiWarrioress · 16/04/2010 10:20

Apparently Bacon Botty's are OK. (botty's?) compared to other brekky sins. Whole meal bread and rindles bacon..Yummmmm

Good morning BTW.. How's the Finnster?

OP posts:
VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 16/04/2010 10:24

I cant comment on your wedding music igg, i cant get on youtube in work, but if you tell me the name of the song i can sing it in my head and then comment

Hi Mitts, Finnster is Fine, still trying to 'play' me though, so it was a battle of wills to get him to nursery this morning (which i won, by using the 'ooohh you are nearly 4, such a big boy now, big boys dont cry...youre so big and brave' )
