iggi - I charity shopped my small clothes on the basis that if I do need to replace them it will be a joyful experience. Also I find that cheaper stuff will do and be flattering in smaller sizes, you just don't have to be as careful as with the larger sizes iyswim.

Another sunny morning here down under. I used to dash out every sunny day thinking I had to make the most of it - like I did in the UK. But 3 months of waking up to sunshine rather makes one calm down about it.

Iggi Switzerland sounds lovely. We had a 5 day honeymoon too. No kids at the time, just skint.

Just got back from seeing a friend's new flat - drove there and it was the longest drive I've done on my own (under and hr each way but I am a lame driver).

We fly on Monday, in theory...

Acc to the travel report that cut into my music in the car the airports are all closed til at least 1pm tomorrow and possibly later.

im sure they will be back to normal by monday though

Not watching volcano programme on BBC2 at mo as it looks like something I will have juvenile nightmares about (there is a volcano where I live, though methinks probably been extinct for a few million years - but you never know [weak grin])

Extinct volcano (apparently 350 million years ago, just wiki-ed it, so I may be exaggerating the threat somewhat.
