Welcome all- old and new- this is our fifty-something Healthy Eating thread, where we chat, support each other's ascent into vibrant slinkiness full of bright eyes and glorious glowing skin etc etc...

Post as much as you can, and you'll be sure to catch the gossip and the gamut of human emotion that make up the Shiney threads. They have grown from one woman's noble quest to ditch curly-wurlies for breakfast into a veritable Mumsnet phenomenon, which has actually seen some of us lose rather a lot of weight and get much healthier...

Not me- I am still trying to get there, and have a permanent cold, but hey, let's not split hairs: there are other regulars who are a positive inspiration! So jump in and find us again, or join us anew, and follow whatever approach suits you.

Bajungas and Boobaloobas.... you lot are delicious..and have made me laugh so much.
As soon as our lovely local chemists is open for the afternoon I am going to try Piriton Sazz, this is silly, some bloke thought I was crying

Oh God, I hate hay fever season. The kids suffer badly. I can't have flowers in the house at all. Especially Lillys which I love.

The change in diet could be making you feel iffy Vinny, but persevere past this bit because it is a sign that your body has noticed you are starving changing eating habits.

I had the most disgusting sausage cob in town. They had mustard in them, which was fine, but there were little pockets of mustard that popped like Zits and looked repulsive. It still makes me feel sick to think of it.

Sazz

Sazz, Oh exercise guru you, whilst getting my baps in and out of bras today, I noticed that I really do have to firm up those bits of flab under your arms, you know side of your boobs type place, in some styles the flab was oozing over like a volcanic explosion.
What can I do to get rid of unsightly bulges there????

Tigga, you are sooo right about trying on and getting fitted for every bra, I was a 34G in one style (just ordered it online), a 32GG in another but mostly a 34GG. So much for me just picking up any old bra in a 38DD, it is going to hard to get bras from now on.

Sazz at Rigby and Peller corset.

Vinny, d'you think if we top heavy girls both got in the front of your new mini we'd make it do wheelies???

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 23/03/2010 13:48

only if i was having sex on it Saz

Lizzy, we can try if you like, i'll bring my mini to the meet in June, we can do wheelies around manchester

wastingaway · 23/03/2010 13:55

I'm afraid kitchenalia does it for me. Lovely bowls Trills.

Lizzy, Wowzer!
I'm a 38G. They really do get in the way.

Vinny, didn't you already have a Mini?

Shiney, didn't someone recommend curry leaves for eczema on MN a lot last year?

Poor Ted though.

Right, first bout of pop-psychologising...

Over-eating and/or binging in response to uncertainty in the future/financial troubles as a modern version of preparing for a future lean time/ famine by stuffing one's face.
Does that make sense?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 23/03/2010 13:55

no, it wasn't me, honest vinny

I didn't drop off and wake up in a panic and start randomly pressing past message....

Well, I come on after a morning off and it's all tits and corsets. Well done ladies, I am glad to see the standard isn't dropping .

Hope your well one and all. DS slept til 7am this morning with no night wakings and I am now so awake I am a bit stupid with it .

Just walked to nursery with DS and will be walking again to pick him and DD up later, so that's an hr of walking today. I feel quite virtuous.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 23/03/2010 13:57

I was a 42 H I think they were big and had them cut down to size they are now a c cup.

MyCatIsABastard · 23/03/2010 13:58

wasting... er kind of think I understand .

Lizzylou · 23/03/2010 13:59

Wasting, you may be on to something there.

I am still reeling from having a 34" back, so far all my life I have used the excuse I am big built/broad, well I can't be, can I?
So I am just far fatter than thought then
Has shaken my perception of me, iyswim

Ah well, whatever, I am so over tits now.

Better get some lunch, wholemeal pitta 3x laughing cow extra light and loads of salad leaves.

MyCatIsABastard · 23/03/2010 13:59

Well, as some of you know I was recently measured and have gone for 42H in may hay day (BF days) to 36F. However, did just get some bra's from next and found I actually needed a 38E, still it's a lot better than 42H.

Lizzylou · 23/03/2010 14:00

Wowsers, Mycat! No wonder you had em reduced.

Good for DS and yay for lots of sleep

FiveGoMadInDorset · 23/03/2010 14:01
