Welcome all- old and new- this is our fifty-something Healthy Eating thread, where we chat, support each other's ascent into vibrant slinkiness full of bright eyes and glorious glowing skin etc etc...

Post as much as you can, and you'll be sure to catch the gossip and the gamut of human emotion that make up the Shiney threads. They have grown from one woman's noble quest to ditch curly-wurlies for breakfast into a veritable Mumsnet phenomenon, which has actually seen some of us lose rather a lot of weight and get much healthier...

Not me- I am still trying to get there, and have a permanent cold, but hey, let's not split hairs: there are other regulars who are a positive inspiration! So jump in and find us again, or join us anew, and follow whatever approach suits you.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay for Vinny's car

@ Bella

NormaSknockers · 23/03/2010 10:45

NormaSknockers · 23/03/2010 10:52

My friends on her way round for a cuppa - catch up a bit later

bellavita · 23/03/2010 10:57

Enjoy your cuppa with your friends Norma

MitsubishiWarrioress · 23/03/2010 10:59

Yip Yip for Vinny's Mini...

for Ted Shiney but the more positive an attitude you have the easier it is for LO's... I found that with DD's asthma. And Alice and Norma's DD's

Lolling at Boobaloobas too I am a 36A as I am quite broad around the rib cage but you go into a shop and actually buy that size... If I had a small fortune to spare I would happily have an enhancement just for my own fun! but I don't lose any sleep over it and think it ain't what you've got, it's what you do with it that matters. It's never stopped me getting more male attention than I can handle. not that the size of boobaloobas should be an issue of course ....

Lizzy. I really really do not feel very well. My eyes are literally streaming and nothing seems to be drying it up. I had to pop into town and I could barely see. I felt monumentally sorry for myself last night and actually bawled my eyes out . I missed being able to go to bed and feel comfort in the knowledge that someone was caring for the DC's and -me--. It has passed now though. Unless someone has got a spare man who wants to pop in from time to time and do my most hated jobs.

Through all the fog I am perky enough now though. But thanks for all the sympathy

Just my tits Ruby, thats where all my weight goes for some strange reason, they are hugenormous

I am suprised to find that balsamic vinegar has points value (1 point per tblsp), i thought it would be 0

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 23/03/2010 11:11

aww mitts you poor thing

i would love to have small boobaloobas though, so i could go around braless and topless (on hols of course)

TrillianAstra · 23/03/2010 11:13

34B here, C would be nice but no desire for anything that needs scaffolding to hold it up.

Whoop whoop for Vinny's car.

OK, am in shock.

I went to boobalooba shop thinking I was a 38DD (was always 36C/D pre-DC), have come out, the porud owner of a .....

wait for it........

34GG bra!

There was even one 32GG bra that fit perfectly.

So I am the Jordan of East Lancs, it is official.

I always thought I was so very broad...it was just fat.

DH is going to be thrilled

TrillianAstra · 23/03/2010 11:44

Woohoo! Giant bajungas for Lizzy!

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 23/03/2010 11:47

Fabbo news Lizzy, welcome to the 'G' club

They were salt and vigina Sazzles

Lizzylou · 23/03/2010 11:51

I am gobsmacked, the woman asked if I was OK, because I was literally about to keel over.

I think I may picket M&S Lingerie departments from now on in, how can they get it so wrong? I look slimmer and far more pert now.

Thanks for making me go!

Mitts, I am sending you a massive hug and much love, hope you're OK.

Salt and vagina crisp, Vinny???

Been to the Dr's. DD has got an antibiotic cream to put on the worse bits. It is the first time she has had anything antibiotic so stupidly worried about that.

Shiney - poor Ted I signed up to trial some cream on MN a few months ago. It was just basically an emolliant but quite runny and worked really well, so we have carried on using it. Most of the time DD only has little patches that are just a bit dry, so we use oilatum bath and the shampoo and a bit of emolliant cream and it is fine. But whenever she has any slight temperature it flares up and the week she was teething and had a temp of 39.1 has made it flare up badly and we are struggling with it this time. This is the first time it has ever bothered her too. Looking to get some pure cotton nightdresses for her as i think that could help a lot.

As for the boobs, well, they were a 32F before being pg, now i am probably about a 34FF but my decent Fantasie bra still fits on its loosest setting, so not going to buy anymore just yet as they will no doubt balloon in the next 20weeks and then deflate like spaniels ears.

Big well done to DIB and Goober too

alice - As I understand these things, antibiotic creams will be a lot more, well, topical than tablets- i.e. limited in the area they work on - so less extreme than having ones you swallow than can wreak havoc on your digestive system. better to reduce risk of infection. btw my friend's doctor recommended second hand clothes for her DDs with exczema - something about them already having been washed loads means they are gentler on the skin apparently

TotalChaos - thank you DD has lots of hand me downs

I am having a crusty roll with wafer thin posh ham and lots of lettuce, and some cherry tomatoes for lunch. It is very yummy. I really need to watch what i eat when i get the munchies, or i end up inhaling a whole pack of biscuits before i have even realised what i am doing.

dawntigga · 23/03/2010 13:03

iggi lovely dress

MitsubishiWarrioress yes I am. All da priddy fings and only so much space to house them. Currently my wish list includes lots of Joseph Joseph

Slight tangent her but scone makers if you add an egg to the liquid it makes them all cakey like.

Five are you breeding for meat or other mysterious things. Hmmmm lamb. Just read what everyone else says about lambs - don't hate me!

As for bra's please get fitted every time or buy bespoke - you'd be surprised who will be making bra's in your area. Yes, bespoke ARE expensive but you'll never get a bra that fits as well or makes you look as good. That said none of mine fit and I can't be bothered making one so I'm in sports bra's - but they fit!

I am having crisps and tomato soup for lunch, and maybe some olives.
