Not me- I am still trying to get there, and have a permanent cold, but hey, let's not split hairs: there are other regulars who are a positive inspiration! So jump in and find us again, or join us anew, and follow whatever approach suits you.

iggi - had a peek - you look gorgeous and the dress is perfect.

And about the way the nursery are acting. I had a few feedbacks like that about DS in the early days but now it's only good I hear. As I didn't believe the bad I try not to completely believe all the good!

Do you think it's worth booking a chat with someone to find out more rather than get these awful snippets of feedback?

Thanks. They talk as if he's the worst boy in the nursery, when I get together with women with the same age of children he is no different from them. Don't think his nursery staff are very patient.
So Vinny, are you going to accessorise the car? Nice furry dice?

Aw Iggi, don't worry am sure he is fine, I find nursery staff can be quite negative about lively boys, from experience

Have had a great spin class, the instructor asked me to help the new young man on the bike next to me. He looked quite nice actually, was wondering if he ever travelled to where our single thread ladies live.
Then he couldn't stay the pace, he sort of gave up.
I didn't think this boded well, so I didn't pass on any emails
Had a fat wobble after and then rushed to buy some stuff for DS1's packed lunch.
But am not even vaguely tired now

iggi, do you think the nursery staff would have been as aggressive about it if it had been you going in there instead of your DP?

I am loving this catchup TV thing and the V+ box. Have watched two episodes of Glee and one of Newswipe, and set loads of things to record that I will never have time to watch (but like the idea that they're there when I want them).

I think they do treat me differently, though can't see why as DP is the regular nursery dropper/picker up. He has now been ranting for several hours about it!

Iggi, I would ask for an appointment to talk to the Nursery manager/leader whoever.
It is not their place to be negative about your son, they should be engaging and inspiring him.

I was told that DS2 was a "right tinker today" by one of the Preschool staff. Another member of staff came up to me and told me that he wasn't, he just didn't want to do one particular activity (he really knows his own mind does my youngest, and is very stubborn).

Merci, think I will make appointment to save DP from going ott and getting DS banned from nursery! They do tell me stuff like I have to sort it our at home (eg he didn't sit still during story time - this being stories with one person reading to a group, not one to one like he's used to - and loves- with me.)
I have the patience that comes from dealing with other people's children, I guess I expect the nursery staff to have it too!
Vinny a camper is the best thing ever (when it goes). I am (yes, I know, a wedding reference in every post!) using it to get to ceremony etc. It will have bows on it.
"Tinker" is a derogatory term regarding travellers, and no-one in education should be using it. So tell her that next time!

I agree with Lizzy about your DS nursery. I would be talking to the manager about it and if your not happy and you think DS isn't either then consider moving him.

i totaled my points wrong today, have just checked again and was 1 point to much, so now have 2.5 left

if i have 2 slices of medium toast, with very thin layer of Philadelphia light and marmite, will that be over 2.5 points? i dont think it will, as bread is 1 point each, philliy will be about 0.5 if i use a scraping, and marmite is 0, but want to be sure

I may have rather over used 'Lovely' in my last post there.

maybe i should have 1 slice of toast just incase? i am starving though, i cant sleep when i am hungry

Vin, I have toast with sliced tomato on it and lots of salt, no butter or cheese etc, although you can put on worcs sauce. That way its only a cpl of points.
