Welcome all- old and new- this is our fifty-something Healthy Eating thread, where we chat, support each other's ascent into vibrant slinkiness full of bright eyes and glorious glowing skin etc etc...

Post as much as you can, and you'll be sure to catch the gossip and the gamut of human emotion that make up the Shiney threads. They have grown from one woman's noble quest to ditch curly-wurlies for breakfast into a veritable Mumsnet phenomenon, which has actually seen some of us lose rather a lot of weight and get much healthier...

Not me- I am still trying to get there, and have a permanent cold, but hey, let's not split hairs: there are other regulars who are a positive inspiration! So jump in and find us again, or join us anew, and follow whatever approach suits you.

Bof, I think it sounds like you are really run down. I often get ill (I always get coldsores up and around my nose ) a few weeks after I have been really stressed/busy/not taking care of myself.
Lots of vitamins and rest for you, and for Mitts.

Tigga, you sound like you have it all sorted out, good plan.

Just realised that DS1 has a school trip tomorrow so will need a packed lunch, have nothing much in for him to take...ugh.

2 wholemeal pittas with laughing cow extra light and salad for light early dinner pre-spinning, can't have the nice ham now as will have to save it for DS1!

Have had a lovely cup a soup today, Light Chicken and Mushroom, really creamy and fairly filling, and only 65cals.

It was the point I realised you don't actually know anyone at all.

BOF - I agree with Lizzy - you sound run down - do you take a multi vitamin at all?

I've started today with eating 3 brazil nuts a day - apparently its going to roll back the years on my face .

I still seem to feel a little hungover and therefore have just eaten a creme egg . It actually wasn't even that nice.

Back on the straight and narrow tomorrow though.

BOF - I read the other thread and would also feel very weird. Perhaps it goes to show that you have good instincts though in that you didn't pursue a relationship with him.

BitOfFun · 22/03/2010 16:44

(Is it very wrong at this point to mention that he had the tiniest penis I'd ever seen? That may have helped my instinct along a bit, tbh..)

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 22/03/2010 16:48

It could well be a factor in his behaviour, BOF. The bloke with the smallest penis I ever saw ended up stalking my old student house and creeping us out for months, he even used to ring my old employers, years after I left Uni.

BitOfFun · 22/03/2010 16:49

Hmm, we may be developing a new school of criminology here

I must be ill.. I am crying with laughter at the tiny penises being indicative of deviant behaviour....

sadly I think there might be something in it, because of the whole ego thing but it has really ticked my immature, poorly sense of humour...and line ups will now involve men getting their tackle out, just to be sure...

BitOfFun · 22/03/2010 16:59

I seriously think we are on to something

TrillianAstra · 22/03/2010 17:04

So, free penis extensions on the NHS to prevent deviant behaviour then?

BethAndHerBrood · 22/03/2010 17:10

Does that mean then, that men with eyewateringly large cocks are completely reliable and trustworthy??

BethAndHerBrood · 22/03/2010 17:11

My DH is VERY reliable. And VERY trustworthy.

Picture of your cat, film-noir style, going for the throat of any unsuitable suitors?

YanknCock · 22/03/2010 17:52

tigga, sounds like a good plan! I also want to be able to shop on the high street--am so tired of 'fat lady' shops where they assume because you are fat, you must also be tall

Mitts, I am highly offended by your misreading of my wholly innocent name!

BOF how awful. Try not to think about it, ok? He probably went for women he thought he could victimise and somehow your radar told you to get away quickly. (That, and his tiny penis). Was he a rabbit humper too? (Not that he humped rabbits...oh you know what I mean....quicker-is-not-better-and- doesn't-disguise-the-small-mantool=rabbit humper)

Beth

YanknCock · 22/03/2010 17:54

and I do not regularly use the word 'mantool'

where the hell did that come from??

ah....got it, it was a comedy sketch I used to find incredibly funny when I was 12-ish
