People of the world, join hands, join our TOTALly fabulous healthy eating thread.

We are a group of MNetters who wish we lost a pound for every post we have made on this thread since our benevolent leader started her SHINEY threads many, many months ago now.

I am Syc, and I was once deputy although life has slightly got in the way in the last month or so. But, inspired by our recent TOTAL yoghurt bonanza, I'm back and on the wagon.

Join us, we are a friendly bunch but like to waste as many calories as possible through moving our digits very swiftly over the keyboards and posting like women possessed

All denominations here, so whatever way you want to lose weight, maintain or just focus on healthier eating, you will fit right in.

I always like Heinz Cream of Chicken and Mushroom or Tomato soup when I am ill.

TerryWogansCock · 06/11/2009 12:29

Lizzy i am going to come round and shake you in a minute dear

It wasnt a boasty post at all and you are worrying for too much, you are very generous and kind my lovely

FiveGoMadonTheDanceFloor · 06/11/2009 12:32

Hello all

Brief stop in, Sorry for everybodies woes, well done BIWI for standing up on the thread, the book will be in the post today I promise.

Trills, hope hyou get better soon and Lizzy so sorry for your DS and missing the funeral.

I lost another 1lb this week, considering all the biscuits and wine and crap I have eaten over the last fortnight I was impressed. So that is 13lbs and I am hoping to make it to the stone mark next week.

Have had a bad week with DC's DS has been off with D&V and then ended uo in A&E at 11.30 last night with DD who had severe abdominal pains and it is bad constipation. Feel awful that I didn't notice but just thought she was pooing at preschool. The hospital gave her a bear for being so good.

The kitchen is coming along. The pillar is out and the beam is in, there is a bit more plastering to do and then the floor can go down. Have found a nice kitchen table and chairs and then it is on with our bedroom and bathroom.

Lizzylou · 06/11/2009 12:33

TWC, ouch!

I really am not lovely, honestly. I am a right bitch really.

Have to see what I can eat, haven't had anything yet and DS2 doesn't want anything.
Am famished.

Lizzylou · 06/11/2009 12:35

Well done on weight loss Fanny
Hope your DC are on the mend now.
Don't feel bad, I would have done the same thing.

VinegarTits · 06/11/2009 12:43

Oh well done Fanny

hellsbelles · 06/11/2009 12:49

Five - bloody hell -what a week. Hope they are on the mend.

Trills - chicken soup (just need someone to make it though!)...hope DP thoroughly spoils you while you are illing.

Lizzy - didn't see your post but can guess what it said - I think you are lovely and although this time she may not have been deserving don't let that spoil your lovely intentions in future (if you know what I mean)

Feeling a bit stupid - DD has been really tricky to settle at lunchtime as she enjoys jumping around in her cot. Thought I might try her grobag (which she wears at night) and she's gone straight down - wish I'd thought of it weeks ago - I would have had so much more time to MN work

VinegarTits · 06/11/2009 13:12

OMG nice smelly sexy man just made converstion with me, and i went all shy and stuttery like a fool

He ask where about i lived and do i like living there and what football team i supported

VinegarTits · 06/11/2009 13:12

i mean nice smelling

he is most definately not smelly

BecauseImWorthIt · 06/11/2009 13:26

Sorry to hear your tale of woe, Five! No worries about the book.

hellsbelles · 06/11/2009 13:31
  • nice smelly was good.

Vinny is he the young one or am I getting mixed up (easily done)

VinegarTits · 06/11/2009 13:36

Yes he is the young one, not really spoken to him before but he has been sitting next to me all week

When he started shatting to me i felt myself blushing, i must have looked like a fool

He is gorgeous

hellsbelles · 06/11/2009 13:41

no wonder you blushed - I would have if someone shat in front of me

Rather encouraging that he's chatting like this - do you all ever go out after work? I wonder what would happen then?!!

VinegarTits · 06/11/2009 13:42

Oh dear i mean Chatting

BitOfFun · 06/11/2009 13:42
Grin
VinegarTits · 06/11/2009 13:45

No, dont really go out with work as i live to far away (long commute)

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 06/11/2009 13:46

Lolling at smelly man shatting in front of Vinny!

TrillianAstra · 06/11/2009 13:47

Ugh.

Have a call at 4, then I'm gonna try to go home.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 06/11/2009 13:47
hellsbelles · 06/11/2009 13:48

do we all think these typos are because Vinny is in LURVEEEE

VinegarTits · 06/11/2009 13:52

more likely because i got pissed on a school night merry last night so i am a bit tired

Off home now so will have to leave smelly shatty man to it

hellsbelles · 06/11/2009 13:56

likely story !

Poor man - I'm sure he is gorgeous - but now will never be able to get the smelly shatty image out of my head when you talk about him!

TrillianAstra · 06/11/2009 14:09

Pissed on a schoolnight? Naughty Vinny!

I found a philadelphia dippy thing in the local shop, it was nice, chilli sauce for interesting ness, smoothy creamy cheese for soothing throat. Very nice.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 06/11/2009 14:14

I took the DC's to school this morning and all being well, won't see them until 4.00pm tomorrow...WooHooooooo!! they are fab but I so need a quiet night.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 06/11/2009 14:19

I have discovered Covent Garden soups, they usually have a couple of flavours on at reduced price in our Sainsbos, so it works out at about 50p a meal and then a hunk of bread or a sandwich.

I don't always have time to make my own and they are delicious.

Although I did make my own Chilli, Tomato and Bean broth which was gorgeous.
