People of the world, join hands, join our TOTALly fabulous healthy eating thread.

We are a group of MNetters who wish we lost a pound for every post we have made on this thread since our benevolent leader started her SHINEY threads many, many months ago now.

I am Syc, and I was once deputy although life has slightly got in the way in the last month or so. But, inspired by our recent TOTAL yoghurt bonanza, I'm back and on the wagon.

Join us, we are a friendly bunch but like to waste as many calories as possible through moving our digits very swiftly over the keyboards and posting like women possessed

All denominations here, so whatever way you want to lose weight, maintain or just focus on healthier eating, you will fit right in.

I am doing ok still,

I Am either working or asleep at the moment! I am sure I should have been a creature that hibernates.

What's the TOTAL thing about? I haven't got time to catch up.

I hope everyone is doing well, and if not that things turn around soon.

My counselling is going well, I go on thursday evenings and I am really glad I decided to go for it.

I might try to catch up later, cheers for now, Loves Y'all

DreamsInPyrotechnics · 06/11/2009 08:29

Morning Mits

The marketers at Total noted how often we rave about their yoghurt after they did a promotion a few month's back, and offered a yoghurty gift to ten of the shiney thread.

Vinny - I think you had to email her yourself

DreamsInPyrotechnics · 06/11/2009 08:30

at the counselling, glad it's going well.

hellsbelles · 06/11/2009 08:36

morning all - VInny you are one of the originals and I am just mere young one to the thread (that is the only chance I will get to refer to myself as young so please indulge me).

I'll email Julie and you can have my lorry load

Mitts great to hear the counselling is going well.

My weight loss has not improved overnight alas (I do usually weigh less in the morning but not this time). Still I"m with 2 lbs and aiming for another 2 next week.

VinegarTitsOnFire · 06/11/2009 08:40

Hells dont you dare!

Take no notice of me i was pissed a bit tipsy last night

hellsbelles · 06/11/2009 08:43

are you sure? I do think it would be fair and think of the cleopatra style yoghurt bath you might be able to have (Yes I know she used milk but methinks Yoghurt might be even better )

TrillianAstra · 06/11/2009 08:44

Morning all. Not feeling so great today - looks like I'm going to be ill over the weekend, what a joy.

Glad your counselling is going well TMW.

VinegarTitsOnFire · 06/11/2009 08:46

Oh i am sure, i will have to continue eating bacon butties for brekker thought

VinegarTitsOnFire · 06/11/2009 08:46

I mean though

Lizzylou · 06/11/2009 08:47

Vinny, you can have my Total, I am only middle aged on this thread, not a pensioner like you . Seriously, I will email her and tell her.

Have got a doctors appointment for DS2, he was up all night with an awful cough, the kind that you know won't be eased by Tixylix, he needs anti-bs. I slept on the futon mattress in his room, I get scared by anything to do with breathing etc, am the same when DH gets asthma.

So, no funeral, but will be thinking of Grandma at 11am.

Hope you all have lovely days.

DreamsInPyrotechnics · 06/11/2009 08:47

What a pain. Being ill on the weekend is so unfair. Is DP recovered? Will he look after you?

TrillianAstra · 06/11/2009 08:52

DP is nearly recovered - I don't know yet if I'll be as bad as he was. He seems to think that the Night Nurse, while stopping coughing and helping sleep, actually made him really groggy the next day.

BecauseImWorthIt · 06/11/2009 08:53

Morning all

Have a bit of a headache this morning

... and I got into a bit of a fight on another thread last night

Hope I'm still welcome here ...

TrillianAstra · 06/11/2009 08:56

Why were you fighting BIWI?

VinegarTitsOnFire · 06/11/2009 08:57

What was the fight over?

BecauseImWorthIt · 06/11/2009 08:57

Poster who has been asking for money suddenly popped up asking for ideas for Christmas presents and I thought it was very insensitive given Trinity's situation

Not sure I went too far - I was a bit direct

TerryWogansCock · 06/11/2009 08:59

Was it the same poster who aksed for money on TR thread? she is an effin disgrace, can you link please biwi?

Lizzylou · 06/11/2009 09:04

BIWI , really? Now I feel a right mug.

Trills, hope you feel better. Is it a cough that you have like your DP? DH was just flu-like symptoms, so was alternating paracetomol and nurofen every few hours.
