Welcome to the latest in our series of healthy eating threads (26 and counting)!

The emphasis is on health (which is sometimes rude when we get chatting frivolously, as is our tendency), and weight loss where desired. I obviously don't desire it enough, as I am the same weight as when I started, but some of our regulars are mere shadows of their former selves ...

Do come and sign in here if you are with us, or want to join in- all welcome.

We try a variety of approaches, and there is always a lot of support and quite a few laughs along the way. Shiney is the head honcho round these parts, and we do get to be regaled with her embarrassing stories before the rest of MN, so that's always a big draw

Join us if you will!

I have to leave the gym and go home for lunch, although this is working as a fab food diverter!

Only logged on here to say i had swum a mile in 34 minutes (a new record), but i fear it may be lost in a sea of cock chatter

COCK CHATTERS GO HOME

FlamingoCock · 27/10/2009 12:51

TrillianSlasher · 27/10/2009 12:51

SazZaCock · 27/10/2009 12:54

LOL Trills, at least your colleagues will think you are a jolly cheery soul, having a lovely time toiling away at your rewarding work . Just try not to splurt coffee over them though

Right, really off home now........

BitOfCock · 27/10/2009 12:54

Well done Sazz- you are right though, you are swimming in a sea of cock today. Poor old Norma has come up sucking a tit nonetheless... Hope your day gets better, lovie!

BitOfCock · 27/10/2009 12:58

NormasCocker has got a certain je ne said quoi though...I was going to say "ring to it", but that is taking things A Bit Far...

Hi Carrie, ham egg and chips is tasty but not exactly the perfect healthy eating lunch, have you had any fruit or veg today?

hellsbelles · 27/10/2009 13:17

flippin heck you lot have been busy with your mischief and mayhem I'm supposed to be working but it's taken me ages to catch up.

Carrie - I too am the queen of dull (not that I think you are) so at least I'll have a partner in crime now you've joined the thread!

So apart from cocks - what's everyone had for lunch?

I've been M&S'ing and had chicken tag - but I'm making amends by ploughing through a big bowl of blueberries...

TrillianSlasher · 27/10/2009 13:18

Shiney is not strict. We try to keep her in line but it's quite difficult

carriedababi · 27/10/2009 13:18

well i've seen them around
although you could always introduce them to me

i like strict.

to add to my 5 a day i will be making a chocolate fondant later

jeeze the weight like be dropping off me at this rate!

BitOfCock · 27/10/2009 13:19

Yes, enough with the cockwittery please!

Hi Carri- are you here for weight-loss, or just healthier eating?

Shall I do some introducing? I have a stone and a half to lose and the rest, and have been plagued by illing and low energy for a year or so. However, though still a delicate flower, I have recently stopped taking immunosuppressants for a medical condition, and am steeling my resolve to get my mirena coil removed TODAY -eek!! I am sure that the hormones haven't helped, I have never been such a lardarse in my life. So, I am thinking Fresh Thread, Fresh Start, and hopefully will start to see some weightloss soon. I honestly don't overeat, but I could do with getting well enough to exercise.

Some people on the thread have lost oodles of weight, and Flamingo is back in a size ten ! So it can be done.

Repeating weightloss advice for new thread.

Try The Lord Ford for some serious number-crunching. If you eat fewer calories than you burn you will lose weight. This helps you to work out which foods are giving you more calories than they are worth. Nothing is banned, you just choose where to spend your calories, and to earn them back with exercise. Warning: if you set loss to 2lbs a week it can be nastily strict, because 2 lbs a week = a 1000-cal deficit every day. Better to set it to 1lb a week and try to beat it.

TrillianSlasher · 27/10/2009 13:22

Oooh, good luck with the removal BoF!
