Hello!
Today i am off the wagon. Deliberately. In celebrate and comiseration at the same time.

JET: congratulations, you are doing really well and i've missed you motivational weight losses to kick me in the ass and tell me i've been lazy.

I hope all are ok today. I hope to pop back later but off for the last slog of particle physics for the submission of assigments.

Slubberdegullion · 21/10/2009 16:33

Thanks for the mini CV slimey. Admin Officer job sounds good - perfect for holidays etc when your ds starts school.

There is a certain mature gentleman big man hands vibe about Billy Joel that isn't altogether unappealing.

I have no idea actually if he does have big hands, for some reason when I picture him in my head he is big of hand.

harleyd · 21/10/2009 16:33

no bella, i realised i couldnt just take off to dublin shame tho
couldnt really afford it anyhow

TrillianSlasher · 21/10/2009 16:34

Just had some dried apricots.

Feeling very unmotivated. Stupid meeting still not started.

bellavita · 21/10/2009 16:36

Slubs have you been drinking..?

Shame harley, big shame!

Trills, I love dried apricots.

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 21/10/2009 16:39

Oooohhhh..loving the dress Bella, that is lush.

I am so difficult to please where men are concerned, not loving Billy Joe or Joel. If Robert Downey Junior can make a decent cuppa I might let him read me a pome, but there would have to be serious chemistry before he got to even knowing if there was hole in my stocking, let alone explore it.

Hope you get to see Green Day again Harley..... just to enjoy your post concert hyperness

TrillianSlasher · 21/10/2009 16:40

Hasn't that quote of the week been there for about a month?

bellavita · 21/10/2009 16:43

I don't know Trillian, I never take any notice

I have seen it Shiney, I had to restrain myself from going on the thread and giving my bit

Lizzylou · 21/10/2009 16:54

Tis a bigger, faster movings site these days, the old guard don't understand.

where/who says that then shiney and bella??

PMSL at Billy Joe/l Mind - i do like both - beggers cant be choosers

slubber - not weightwatchers, i still feel like i am cheating compared to others here, but i am being prescribed Orlistat by my GP, so need a very low fat diet.

Oh, and i too am one of those single mothers - i top you shiney though - i dont work (that is due to ill health - i have worked previously) so am in receipt of benefits, and i live in a council house. I could bore you all with just how well i actually match the stereoype - but i won't

But, my house is clean, has clean bedding ]and even gets dusted and hoovered

Lizzylou · 21/10/2009 17:06

Feeling a bit frisky today, it's empowering saying what you want to.
I may just let rip a bit more often, instead of changing my mind and not hitting post.

Lizzylou · 21/10/2009 17:09

Am a product of a single Mother, who then went on to marry wanker Stepdad.
Am married, but my house is not clean and tidy, bedding is fresh on at the moment, but that's about it.
All these stereotypes are just a load of tosh.

Lizzylou · 21/10/2009 17:09

Actually now EX-Stepdad.

bellavita · 21/10/2009 17:11

here jet

NormaSknockers · 21/10/2009 17:15

That post has got waaaaaaaaaaaaay out of hand!

Shiney who says we can't mark our spot?? Why can't we??

Don't think my mother could be classed as a single mum, she always had some gullable tosser fell ain her life!!

NormaSknockers · 21/10/2009 17:19

Lizzy - loved your point!!

bellavita · 21/10/2009 17:20

Norma - the old fishy one.

TrillianSlasher · 21/10/2009 17:20

I don't think it's terribly serious. Just a case of 'things that annoy me'.
