Just had a panicky 2.5 seconds where I thought the last post of the thread was me blethering on about sanitary ware

DreamsInBinary · 21/10/2009 23:15

Am too knackered to face the nightime chores of face-washing, contact lenses etc.

When I am very, very rich, I will pay someone to get me ready for bed .

Hello piscesmoon!

SqueezyCheesyPumpkin · 21/10/2009 23:16

This is a 3 month check up thingamy, the last one was all clear so fingers crossed. The gynaecologist is very nice, I like her a lot, she is funny and friendly so that is half the battle.

DreamsInBinary · 22/10/2009 08:55

New thread

But until this one is full, you can only go on it to mark your place

Lizzylou · 22/10/2009 08:57

HI all.

Squeezy, hope all is well today.

Have stocked up on veg and fruit and dried apricots to snack on when I want chocolate or cheese.
May even get some exercise in today, you never know....

Pls can you cross your fingers for my DH today, he is trying to get a sort of promotion, he has to speak with some bosses at his work about it all and it is well out of his comfort zone.

TrillianSlasher · 22/10/2009 09:03

DIB - Shiney was supposed to do the link. To demonstrate to us that she will be good at picking up the new skills required for her job. Or something.

Alice - I swear, I promise you.

Good luck to Lizzy's DH and to SC for her appointment.

Still feel crap, but hey-ho, this is the way of things.

SpookyAlice · 22/10/2009 09:08

Trills - get a grip woman!!! (would give hugs but seeing as i'm not a particularly touchy feely person and this is MN and all....

Good luck today MrLizzyLou

So.... how long does this fecking flu thing last because I am FED UP OF IT NOW?>

Being tired is really the wankiest thing in the world. So all have my sympathy.

Just drag and drop the little icon by the address at the top....dead quick. [lazy emoticon] I didn't even know what Lol meant this time last year so progress is possible.

Hullo.....

TheMitsubishiWarrioress · 22/10/2009 09:49

Oh and thinking of you squeezy, treat yourself to a little something after.

VinegarBloodyTits · 22/10/2009 09:53

I love fresh new babies Hells, that would put me in a good mood, can you ask your freidn to visi me too

Sorry your feeling crap TMW, do you have plenty of drugs to help you through it?

NormaSknockers · 22/10/2009 10:04

I seem to have completely lost my mojo over new babies. I used to love giving a newborn a squeeze but they're just babies now IYKWIM? Since I had DS anyway, I would just rather squeeze him, there's definately someting about having a son - or is that just me?

TrillianSlasher · 22/10/2009 10:05

Bleh. Just marking my space or summat.

Lizzylou · 22/10/2009 10:07

TMW, hope you feel better soon me lovely.

Norma, I only have boys, but when they're not fighting they are very cuddly and lovely.
I loved it when DS1 was ill the other night and he just wanted to snuggle up (I obv didn't love it that he was ill.......ou know what I mean!).

VinegarBloodyTits · 22/10/2009 10:09

I think its something to do with my body clock ticking very loudly these days Norma [old grimmer] when i was in my twenties i could happily ignore new babies

Lizzylou · 22/10/2009 10:16

I still have to be forcibly removed from babies, especially girl babies, but really, I am not fussy.
I just love them in babygros, it is so sad when they grow out of the babgro stage.

NormaSknockers · 22/10/2009 10:16

Maybe it is a boy thing then. DD is lovely & I love her to bits (obviously) but she's very much little miss independent as well as being a Daddy's girl so I never really get a look in. DS on the other hand is all for mummy & loves nothing more then a nice cuddle (although he's going through a boob rumaging phase but he's only 14 months so can let him off...for now!) when he was born I just thought this is it, this is my family complete, I'm happy & I'm done. Thanfully DH felt the same & ever since then my baby radar as just switched off!

You're not an old grimmer Vinny!!
