Keep away from the chocolate , I have to keep reminding myself that just because something is half the fat It doesn't mean I can eat two

No excercise today but I have thought about it a bit so surely that counts for something .

TrillianSlasher · 19/10/2009 14:13

Especially cos things half the fat are rarely much lower in calories TW - they add more sugar to make up for the loss in fat and try to keep it tasty.

I am not allowed any chocolate until at least 3 o'clock. I will reassess the situation then.

travellingwilbury · 19/10/2009 14:16

That is true , so are you saying I should just have the full fat one instead then ?

Going off to drink more bloody water .

TrillianSlasher · 19/10/2009 14:17

No, the low fat one will have less calories (fewer?), just not half as many.

travellingwilbury · 19/10/2009 14:19

I know I should keep away from the lower fat stuff really as I am a bit of a carb junkie so having extra sugar really doesn't help the craving .

Hey DP, just pop back when you can, if you like. There's no minimum posting requirement.

TrillianSlasher · 19/10/2009 15:02

Well Shiney, have you scoffed the lot? How restrained are you being?

TerryWogansCock · 19/10/2009 15:22

I can't believe you got a tumbleweed moment when mentioning my name slubber, i think you needed to show a picture of me too (see my profile for our mascot picture)

You may have got more reaction if you had mentioned my Sunday name (vinegartits) but depends if they were fans of the infamous Austrailian soap opera

A lot of people dont get me though, story of my life

TrillianSlasher · 19/10/2009 15:30

Someone in the office has dried apple rings. They're kinda tasty.

TerryWogansCock · 19/10/2009 15:32

Oooh are they the apple snaps ones?

i product tested them for MN, they were vile but won me £250

Slubberdegullion · 19/10/2009 15:32

That picture is what was in my head when I was telling them all, it's the mustard cords that make it so perfect. None of them got it .

Slubberdegullion · 19/10/2009 15:33

I'm having a glass of milk (to help with the repeating tuna sandwich from lunch time).

Is this what one does, list everything that passes one's lips?

TrillianSlasher · 19/10/2009 15:34

No, from Neal's Yard (is that posh?). They're ont he 'help yourselves' table so I had one.

£250 is pretty good going, and I love that the prize went for a bad review

TrillianSlasher · 19/10/2009 15:34

Yep, that's it, list all the things that you are considering passing your lips and let us congraulate you when you make good choices.

Slubberdegullion · 19/10/2009 15:41

okey dokey.

So now I am considering those Apfel rings sweeties that you can get in Germany, you know they are round with a hole in the middle and are zingy but do actually taste a little bit of apple. Man they are good. However I do not have any, and nor do I live in Germany so I am not going to eat any.

TrillianSlasher · 19/10/2009 15:42

This was a semi-dry squidgy bit of an apple. Not quite the same.

I think you have to be exercising some kind of control to get praise from me. Others may be more easily won over though

TerryWogansCock · 19/10/2009 15:44

I didn't eat that second bag of quavers

but mentioning it has made me want them, someone stop me

Fell asleep? You won't be able to do that when you're working!

DP has quit apparently. Silly girl.

Well done on not eating more quavers TWC - one bag of crisps should be enough for the day.
