Swimming pond sounds chilly, but fun!

DreamsInBinary · 16/10/2009 21:58

at Iggi and Fanny - it is such a horrible feeling, even for a second.

I deserve a Slimey sainthood - popped into chavsda this evening, and ignored the Ben & Jerry's tubs at two for £3. Two for three quid

And they had caramel choo choo. Sniff.

TheIggorcist · 16/10/2009 22:00
TrillianSlasher · 16/10/2009 22:01

2 for £3? They're normally 1 for a fiver!

I'm going to Asda! And getting fat. Maybe not then.

Definitely a prize for that.

FiveGoMadonTheDanceFloor · 16/10/2009 22:04

Iggi - I missed that, hope the vodka and chocolate combination is helping.

Lizzylou · 16/10/2009 22:06

Sorry, Iggi, I missed that you had had a scare too!

Bloody hell, I was in Chavsda today and didn't notice that deal!

In my defence I only took DS2 in to look at the Halloween stuff as we have 30mins to kill between school drop off and preschool start. Managed not to buy caramel filled choc eyeballs though (do I get a badge?).

TheIggorcist · 16/10/2009 22:21

Thank you dears, I will go to bed and be a better mother tomorrow
Had port instead of voddy to finish a bottle so really have just been getting the recycling ready

Lizzylou · 16/10/2009 22:22

Iggi, it can happen to anyone, honest.

Tricky lil beggars these kids, hmm I love Port. And how very green of you.

TheIggorcist · 16/10/2009 22:24

There are 9,440 hits in google if you search for Terry Wogan's cock. Not that I'd do that.

Evening ladies

Hey, there's nothing wrong with Asda My shopping comes in at around £50-60 a month cheaper there than Tesco.

jaquelinehyde · 17/10/2009 00:47

tiptoe...tiptoe...tiptoe...pokes head round door.

Cooeee room for an old friend? Been absent for about 8 weeks. I dread to think the amount I have missed in that amount of time

So can someone kindly fill me in. Who's new and stayed with it, who has left? How are all of my old chums from on here, what's been happening? Most importantly how good have you all been, what is the weigh loss total looking like. Come on give me good news, pleeeease.

I have bad, bad news I'm afraid. I have managed to put back on 12lbs yes count them 12. However, my attitude remains the same. I will lose the weight, it will happen. It went on and it will come off. I restarted my diet on Wednesday to tie on with my full return to Uni and having my full internet usage back (don't even speak to me about Sky bloody broadband).

I have moved from Slimming World to Weight Watchers and after just a few days I'm noticing how much simpler it is.

Anywho, I hope you are all well and shall be checking in daily, probably much more once I get back into my full MN swing. Feels odd yet homely to be back on here again. Yay.

SazZaVoom · 17/10/2009 07:22

Just popping on quickly at friends house as DD2 up at stupid o clock so making the most of it

Welcome back Jac, good to see you . Bugger about the 12lbs but good to hear you are back in the mindset. I am still here, lost 2.5 stone, another 1 to go but progress has slowed. And i ate lots of cheese last night . Not sure if you are still FB admin'ing now your BBand is working but i did send a request a while ago as did Vaca i think

Congrats Shiney on the job. Lovely they made a decision so quickly too . Hopefully none of the male interviewers asked you if you still have your uniform and truncheon . Unless they were single and hot, obviously

Glad all lost children returned home and well done DIB on stepping away from the B&J. Mucho good self control

Who is that sparkling in the corner? Ah, I see it's Bella

bellavita · 17/10/2009 08:17

Hey SazZ

FlamingoBingo - you have been quoted in the Times this morning!!!!!! on the GB webchat... whey hey you are famous girl.

Shiney - but at least you won't need childcare in the holidays though

bellavita · 17/10/2009 08:23

Shiney - see the way I think about it is.. DS2 has to go to Kids Club twice a week since I started my new job, but I know it is only short term really as he is now Yr5. So when he goes to secondary school, he will just come home with his brother (who lets himself in) and I won't have to pay any more. How old is Teddy 2.5? so only a couple of more years and he will be at school.

DevilsEnticeMadness · 17/10/2009 08:32

Hey fanstastic Jaq is back Hey there, good to see you! I lost weight but am at the weight i was when you disappeared. Now have accurate scales so no longer deluding myself and also why i put on 1/2stone in 5 mins thankfully until thurs night was doing very well. I am in the naughty corner for B&J's and an all nighter for essay deadlines

congrats shiney

DIB Impressed you could leave the B&J's i couldnt leave the 2 for 1 offer which is why it was bought eaten. have some for sunday night's panic in the first tub and the second can be forgotten for now.

didn't get tea last night - fell asleep before i got there but did get a taste of the bread roll that ds made from dough made is school, shaped and cooked with grannie. He is doing really well and grannie is his new best friend. Though he really misses auntie with whom he has a great relationship with. Might have to see about taking him up to she her uni place. Could do blackpool illuminations at the same time. will hve to think on that they are only up for another week or so.

NormaSknockers · 17/10/2009 09:30

Morning all! Sorry not about much, DH off for a few days so making the most of it & having some days out with the DC

Shiney - CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! Well done you!

Feeling very bloated today & seemed to have gained 3lbs in one day absolutely no idea how though!! Think I may just have to not eat again til weight day

OP posts:
DevilsEnticeMadness · 17/10/2009 10:00

Oh Norma! bless ya. I hve one piece of important advice: STOP WEIGHING YOURSELF EVERY DAY! ONCE a week is plenty enough! 3lbs could just be lots of drinking or slower digestive transit poo

I iwas going to bounce about feeling happy but will whisper "i am now down to 11st 4lbs" explains why i could get the target shorts on. Next aim to get them on and comfortable for a whole day and aiming for a skirt that is my final target. on and not done up is the target there. might go find Lord F and fidn out how long he reckons it will take to get where i want to be.

DevilsEnticeMadness · 17/10/2009 10:04

wow the lord says if i work hard and loose 2lbs per wk then i will hit my target weight before christmas - in time to put wieght on over the festive yumminess!

Yay Jacboot is back

Norma, I agree with DEM, stop weighing every day, could be water retention, anything!

On my own all day today at my Saturday job (told you I wasn't a corporate bigwig, Shiney!). Really bloody busy so far. Off out tonight for lots of wine.

Great news on the loss, DEM. What are shorts? I'm sure I wore some once, probably in about 1980.

NormaSknockers · 17/10/2009 10:30

Waaaaaaaaaaaaa! I didn't get a Shiney mention

I know, I really shouldn't weigh every day it's not good & makes me feel all crappyDEN @ it being a slow transit poo!!

Is that good or bad being on your own at work Lizzy?

SqueezyCheesyPumpkin · 17/10/2009 10:36
