For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

So, do you have a whitey when you take/sniff? poppers?

I don't like the sound of it

pointydog · 25/06/2009 21:02

oh I am so late to post. I am fetching myself lots of jalapeno torilla chips which I am addicted to (I don't list that natch)

Boco · 25/06/2009 21:02

My parents used to always make my boyfriends have whiteys and be sick on the bathroom floor. It was very irritating.

FrannyandZooey · 25/06/2009 21:02

i have not heard phrase have a whitey before i don't think

Yes I am being serious

Guadalupe · 25/06/2009 21:04

Not always, lemur. But quite often.

Right my takeaway is here. Hurrah.

pointydog · 25/06/2009 21:04

boco, do you mean you sat round partaking of drugs with your parents?

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 25/06/2009 21:04

10 years is tin and aluminium.

FrannyandZooey · 25/06/2009 21:07

oh lord what can tin and aluminium be? why are they so random? surely 10 years should be a good one not a year's supply of beans

how's about a barbecue? I'd quite like a proper barbecue. We piss about on the ground with disposable ones and annoy the neighbours with the gushing fumes

pointydog · 25/06/2009 21:09

clench fist

Boco · 25/06/2009 21:09

Well, I didn't, because i didn't approve, but they'd share it with boyfriends, who were desperate to appear cool and sophisticated, and would then faint. Poor dp, he had a whitey when he first met them, he went and lay down and said 'please, please, make them stop, I can't take any more' as my mum cheerfully called 'just rolling another....are you coming through?'

pointydog · 25/06/2009 21:11

oh no! oh cringe. I cannot imagine havin gparents like that. I feel I've missed out by not knowing anyone who had parents like that

Boco · 25/06/2009 21:13

It's annoying because they have no short term memory and are a bit flighty.

pointydog · 25/06/2009 21:15

oh yeas, that would be annoying. I've only known a couple of dopeheads and they were/are irritatingly spacey and not very good at talking

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 25/06/2009 21:16

pmsl at your parents Boco

Will think about tin and aluminium presents.

The comedian Stephen Amos is touring early next year. I could book tickets for that. I feel the pressure is on as dh as already go my present, and he's SHIT at being organised.

SpawnChorus · 25/06/2009 21:19

LOL at the title and at pointy and at Boco's parents

FrayedKnot · 25/06/2009 21:56

I am too old to feel at home here

In my day we had warehouse parties where they played Yazz

And I've never had a popper

Although plenty of whiteys apparently

FrayedKnot · 25/06/2009 22:07

Hope everything is going OK for SB

mollyroger · 25/06/2009 22:07

mollyroger · 25/06/2009 22:11
