For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Also it was all 'oooh I'm going to get free fruit in a graze box everyone, oooh' then it's been weeks of 'I got nuts, chocolate nuts, dried cherries, goji berries.' Not actual fruit I am noticing.

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2009 19:13

See, Molly got dried fruit and chocolate and nuts fgs

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2009 19:14

You is all being had

I think you should definitely go along and say exactly that Moll. You tap along to the rhythm.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2009 19:14

sorry that last post of mine was totally wrong thread. orry.

100 it was actual fresh baby cherries!

the entitre box was 3 of my 5 a day!

Add that to bilberries in my yoghurt this morning, peas, tomatoes and mushrooms at lunch; and spinach, onion and strawberries at dinner and I have a perfect 10.

3 hours of allotmenting = plenty excerise too.

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2009 19:16

lol at chorus of 'it's 3 of my 5 a day'

How much are you all paying for these cherries and dried goods again?

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2009 19:17

oats with strawberries, nectarine, pineapple, raisins, banana = 4
edam sandwiches, sugar snaps = 1
baked potato, grated carrot, avocado, butter beans, hummus = 4
graze box = 3

football with the likely lads = 10 / 10

This is my last week of it

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2009 19:18

two pounds
you get a cute fork and a napkin
and there's pictures of grass inside the box so you can gaze at it while you're eating

OP posts:
mollyroger · 26/06/2009 19:18

rofl at picture of grass as a USP!

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2009 19:20

muesli with raspberries = 2
cous cous with orange, rocket salad = 2
a banana = 1
orange juice = 1
ardent discussion re Shakespeare's use of the sonnet form with the Cranes = 0

Okay, I take it back. The Graze box gives you points. And what do points mean franny?

mollyroger · 26/06/2009 19:21

Smugness!

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2009 19:21

SuperBunny · 26/06/2009 19:27

My friend has a baby Nial (Ny-ul).

How cool that Boco made those little figures. LOL @ Franny's friend trying to impress her with them. I have a friend who tries to impress me with Lego and then he sends me random emails during the day saying, "I just got new socks and underwears! Woohoo!" Sadly, I cannot go on a date with him this weekend.

My sister's graze book looked rather disappointing today - apple, goji berries and chili almonds

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2009 19:27

a glowing, healthy,

erm

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2009 19:30

lol @ 'underwears' and 'lego'. ROFL. You MUST go on a date with him and come back and tell me all about it. Gawn. Am pleased things were finally sealed SB, hope you are too? Must be quite a lot to take in.

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2009 19:31

And don't tell your sister to get her hopes up. It's going to be chocolate beans and pecan nuts from hereon in

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2009 19:33

There are no children in the house, and it's 7.30. That's quite weird.

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2009 19:34

are they attending a philosophy lecture?

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 26/06/2009 19:34

Wine tasting ackshally

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2009 19:35

No dd is AWAY for the whole weekend

ds's are in the school play, finishes at 9.30. I went last night, dh went on Wed night. We have given ourselves the night off. I feel guilty about this btw

mollyroger · 26/06/2009 19:36

you are joshing me?

I'm feeling extremely liberal letting ds1 watch terminator and drink elderflower fizz (with its unknown alcoholic percentage)

I live on the edge, me.

ahundredtimes · 26/06/2009 19:42

But Franny - ds1 is a keen member of philosophy club (and ds2 an exceptional member as only normally allowed for years 5 & 6) - AND ds1's recent suggested theme for discussion was 'is it enjoyable to punish someone?'

I am NOT KIDDING. I am in serious trouble here

FrannyandZooey · 26/06/2009 19:43

oh blimey 100
