For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

That's interesting SB. There seem to be a lot of lovely Rachels in my life. It's my middle name too.

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:31

Guad, you meany! enjoy spooks...

TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:31

But now I want to know what your middle name is....

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:32

Blimey, TooT, and did you never want to change back?

Guadalupe · 14/12/2008 23:32

I don't know who the funny man is, I think he might be the goat milker

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:33

My middle name is Jane. Nothing doing....

I mean, Poinsettia Jane, doesn't exactly roll off the tongue !

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 23:33

I don't know why it happens, daisy. Rachels are usually lovely. It suits you, Toot.

I can cope with my real name. My mum chose it when she was 13 (ten years before she had me) so although it is common, I like that I have it. My sister and I have my mum's first name as our middle name but in different languages.

TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:34

To continue, my mum wrote to some organisation who said that I ought to have a name beginning with A, and the choices appeared to be Amy or the one I have. There was a little girl at nursery school called Amy who used to push me off the climbing frame so there was no contest really.

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:34

Ah, Guad, but that is a Poinsettia he is stroking methinks

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 23:35

That's my sister's middle name, Daisy. Mine is Sian (welsh so has an accent)

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:35

and was that organisation the sort of organisation that lurks in Jonestown or chants with snakes.....

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 23:36

What an interesting story, Toot.

And now I must leave

Night night my lovelies.

TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:36

Guad

I always thought it was too late to change back. All that explaining to do....

On top of that, my mother suggested I change my surname when I was about 13.....

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:36

I think anyone born c mid 1960s to mid 1970s has or has a sister with a middle name of Jane...

I am thinking of adding a middle name for DS even though he is 2....

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:37

Crikey! And why was that TooT??? did you?

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:37

Night night SB

TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:39

Because I had my dad's surname and he wasn't really in my life. Yes, I did change. And regretted it.

TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:40

No idea about the organisation. I have never asked.

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:40

Oh, TooT, that sounds like you regret both your names...which is sad... did you change your surname when you got married?

TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:47

No, I didn't get married. But I thought I would so dcs have dp's name . Which I am sorry about.

So, just call me TooT

TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:52

Thank you all for being such fun this evening
A little light insanity and all of a sudden my head feels much clearer

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:55

Oh, how odd. I did get married but didn't change my name and then got in a pickle about what to call DS!!

heh ho, night all

SmilesLikeNoOther · 15/12/2008 01:08
