For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

Well, I think the majority of people would not immediately think of pipistrelles, SB.

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:08

oh, perhaps we should introduce Mou to Franny's horse loving window cleaner!

and by the way, what are you knitting crotcheting SB and TooT!

Guadalupe · 14/12/2008 23:09

Ha ha, arf at crochet a goat. Oh go on Toot, it can be a mascot.

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 23:09

Goats? Where's the goat?

Guadalupe · 14/12/2008 23:10

It is under construction.

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 23:10

I am crocheting nothing. Nothing At All!

Good idea for mascot!

Ooo, I'm getting carried away with my !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next it'll be emoticons & everyfing

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 23:12

I love the word TooT. It is very pleasing to look at - nicely symmetrical with capitals at each end and nice round Os in the middle.

TooT TooT

TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:14

I am currently making a cardigan for me, a hat for dd2 and a cardigan for dd2 (which unfortunately won't fit her until she's about 6). Also about to start baby jacket for friend, lion balaclava for dd2 (yet to be designed), hat for ds1 and jumper for ds2 and something as yet unspecified for dd1 "because you never make things for me!!"

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:14

yes, I always try to remember the TooT and it's a bit like a happy flutey noise too, not annoying noises like train whistles that DS has been making all weekend on the recorder!

Go on, TooT, make us a Goat! with a little Mango necklace instead of a collar

TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:14

I like TooT much better than my actual name.

TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:17

Do you think we should wake Franny? She'll be sorry to miss the jollity. And the goat.

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:17

Blimey, TooT, that is busy.

Oh, no, I like your RL name, it is safe and capable and kind, which is how I imagine you to be...

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:18

yes, yes, wake Franny ... she must be due a nipple nibble soon anyway

that poor chilee is clearly hungry and ready for MEAT!

Guadalupe · 14/12/2008 23:18
poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:19

Is that from your bush Guad?

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 23:19

What a lot to do TooT! And how very talented you must be.

Do you not like your real name? Mine is too common and I don't really like the abbreviation by which most people know me. I need to stop referring to myself as it, really.

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:21

Oh, I must go and work

it is too much fun here with bushes and bats and goats...

such a relief the house is quiet and I am alone (except for sleeping DS) and the opportunity to do things is strong....

night all...

if I come back again, chuck me off!

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 23:23
TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:23

Guad, DO NOT feed Daisy to the goat

Not talented, no, just obsessed.

I don't like my name at all. It isn't actually my name anyway, it was changed when I was about 4 or 5.

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 23:24

Someone on my local freecycle, named crossdresser has requested 'womens clothes in size 12-14-16, especially skirts and dresses. Maybe some lingerie too.'

Guadalupe · 14/12/2008 23:24

No, lol, I am feeding you to the goat, poinsettiawotsit! I never had a bush it was a blush, BLACKCURRANT flavour.

Anyway, I am going to watch Spooks with dh, is getting annoyed with all the tapping. I am on his work laptop so am warm for once. Radiator doesn't work in office.

Night all.

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:25

Hang on, I am just about to get down to work and you give a cliff hanger like that TooT!

What was your first given name and why changed and why not change back?

If this bush is being too nosy, just tell me to shut up/ feed me to the goat...

SuperBunny · 14/12/2008 23:26

Oh, how interesting. I am curious about your real name now. I always wanted to be Rachel which is odd because when people meet me, they often call me Rachel instead of my real name. I went through a phase of wanting to use my middle name but am glad I didn't because no-one here can pronounce it.

poinsettia99divine · 14/12/2008 23:28

why so, SB, and can't you just call yourself Rachel and why do people call you Rachel if it's not your name??

curiouser and curiouser...

I had a friend at school who called herself one name at primary school, another at secondary and a third at uni, it got a bit confusing ....

TooTicky · 14/12/2008 23:29

I think when I was 4 or 5 I expressed some dislike for my name - it is an unusual one - and my mother took it terribly seriouisly and it was changed.
