For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

daisy, what are you doing up?

TinyWhiteFeather · 19/12/2008 07:45

I missed Daisy again.

I have to take my maniac children little darlings to work with me today (feels faint).

I might be very stressed later.

I always wondered what milf meant but never dared ask anyone. Ones education is never complete is it.

Well, I shall endeavour to have a good day and wish the same for you all....xxxxx

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 19/12/2008 09:11

oh gods, both children at home with me today, coughing and irritable and bored already I have mammouth tidying to do and I am Losing It!

OsmosisFaLaLaLaLa · 19/12/2008 10:24

oh god. please send help.

I honestly think i will give up drinking. It has gone beyond a joke hangoverwise.

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 19/12/2008 11:42

OB, I shouldn't be giving you any sympathy, but I will!!!

have you got any flu capsules? they are quite miraculous as hangover cures(allegedly....)

Guadalupe · 19/12/2008 14:27

Hangovers are shit. Have lots of fizzy vit c and lie on the sofa. Not that I feel sorry for you.

I believe I am mostly organised for christmas. I need some more ribbon though. There is a lack of good ribbon around for this brown paper packages tied up with string business. String not pretty enough.

Lol, we just got a round robin from one of dh's old headmasters. Why do they do it? I find it cringeworthy, the card even has a photo of him on his horse.

pinkspottywellies · 19/12/2008 14:47

Hi Guad! We keep going on the same threads!

I saw some nice red raffia ribbon in T*sco yesterday.

TinyWhiteFeather · 19/12/2008 15:00

i am not stressed,
i am not stressed,
i am not stressed,
i am not stressed,
I AM NOT STRESSED,
I AM NOT STRESSED.

I AM STRRRREEEEEEESSSSEEEDDDDD!!!!

Stick head in largest mango she can find and sits in a corner, facing the wall, dribbling and chewing her knuckles.

DD is either giggly or having a tantrum.

DS is either acting like 'Kevin' or talking like a three year old.

Sos about hangover Osba, you do have my sympathies.

Gives pink and fmv an energising hug.

Christmas in boco house has been saved today, by a combination of guadalupe being utterly ncelled and buying and posting - and the fact that the rest of amazon order, which yesterday said it would't be sent until after Christmas, today it says it has just been dispatched - hooray!

Am going to my dad's in the morning - staying for the weekend, then have inlaws arriving as soon as we get back, and instead would like a couple of days in bed to shake off chesty thing which is making me feel crap. Then it's Evie's birthday, then Christmas, brother staying, people visiting. I'd like it all to slow down please - this is the last night on our own for nearly two weeks!.

Boco · 19/12/2008 15:50

Half my message has vanished I meant guad utterly fantastic, as presents cancelled, and guad found them in a bookshop and posted.

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 19/12/2008 16:06

hurrah for fruity samaritans.
Hurrah for brown paper packages. Hurrah for Avi
Hurrah for my carrot and corriander soup which has saved me from being vegless today.
Hoorah for parents looking after boys while I go out on the razzle
Horrah for no more school or work for a fortnight.

Hoo-bloody-rah rah rah!

TinyWhiteFeather · 19/12/2008 16:38

I got another a new dress from a second hand shop and it was £2.49 and is gorgeous, (still not rude though), deep red velvet and shortish, simple lines.
Very, very dress happy...(simple emoticon)

DasherDancerPrancerFMVixen · 19/12/2008 16:41

HOORAH!!!

OsmosisFaLaLaLaLa · 19/12/2008 17:22

I have to say, after pretty much a year of fretting about what DH gets up to when he's out with his new friends and feeling jealous, I now know it is all totally unfounded. Phew.

We got there about 11:30pm and left at 1:30. BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

henc e the terrible hangover, drinking through boredom.

DD has been helpful today by only doing one poo. Thank god. That was enough.

I am feeling full of love today. Albeit pain / nausea ridden love . Not to mention the fact that this week has cost us £2000 not including the usual costs. We are having one hell of a patch of bad luck, hopefully it will stop before I get my other 2 essays back!

ah shiz xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

SuperBunny · 19/12/2008 17:58

Well done Avi!

Pink, your DD sounds wonderful.

Feel better soon, OB - did you have fun?

I am meant to be going to a Yule Ball tomorrow but it starts at noon and I don't know what to where. I only have jeans and am not sure if it a 'ball' only in name or if that applies to dress code.
