Truth about vaccinations quotes

alwayssaythanku · 20/01/2005 00:22

These are quoted from www.vaccinetruth.org

"Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world, indeed its the only thing that ever does." Margaret Mead

For us to bombard a newborn baby with a whole battery of vaccines as, in effect, their very first immunologic experience I think is reckless beyond measure. I would say it borders on the criminal.
Dr. Moscowitz

Cost for vaccinations: $10.00
Cost of trip to McDonalds after vaxing: $10.00
Cost of hospitalization after reacting to vax: $300,000.00*
Cost of avoiding vaxes and knowing your child never reacts: PRICELESS

  • Actual bill United States

What is the name of the test that can be given to determine if a child can safely receive a vaccine?

It's called a breath test. You hold a mirror in front of the child and if condensation appears, they are still alive and cannot "safely" receive a vaccine.

Steve

Vaccination is a medical procedure that causes permanent and irreversible modification of the immune system

"The only shot my son needs is a shot at the future."

......Lori Mcilwain

Modern medicine" may well be defined as "the experimental study of what
happens when poisonous chemicals are placed into malnourished human
bodies." A. Saul Contributing Editor,
Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine (www.orthomed.org)

You can always put the vaccines in... but you can never take them out.

Annie - think you could be right - but not nessecarily W&R - I know of someone else who enjoys a bit of trolling - and incidently Babyworld has seen a sudden 'increase' of trolly (?) type posts in recent days too.

Blackduck · 23/01/2005 14:40

Reminds me of the calpol thread...

happymerryberries · 23/01/2005 14:41

And before this dies a well earned death i have never ever said I am any sort of expert of vaccinations. I'll freely admit there are people on MN who know a lot more than me, Jimjams for one. Just not ASTU! I'll even admit that vaccination is not risk free, and have said so a numvber of times. But the smallpox thing was just such a load of cobblers I couldn't let it go without calling her on it.

alwayssaythanku · 23/01/2005 14:49

sorry to deprive you of your victimhood Happy. No where do i say that you "lied" didnt do a good job, etc etc. I see that mumsnet is quite cliquey, as there is a separate thread now talking about MY comments. I will continue on this thread and be up front about what i said. It dosent matter to me what degrees you have by the way. I know plenty of PHD's who havent got a clue about anything outside of their own limited field of interest. Now to qualify, once again if you work for a company, particularly a drug company, you may be doing what you think is 100% correct and right within the confines of your job description. But in terms of your original post which I further pasted on my thread, advertising companies and bending truths, go hand in hand. I understand why the irony here is unpalatable what i dont understand is why you think I said you were lying? If you work for a drug company, a company that sells drugs, the truth WILL be bent, just like in any other company advertising scheme.

What is really happening in this thread? Do we not want to discuss this any more because some people think they have a handle on it more than others? I am never going to agree with all of you and you probably wont agree with me. So what. Happy please tell me where I said you lied in your job?????????

OP posts:
happymerryberries · 23/01/2005 14:53

Actually, if you read anything with a degree of accuracy you will see that I used to work for a pharmaceutical company. And for the last time my job was to stop adverts blurring the truth.

Now unless you are terminaly dim, is that enough information for you to understand?

You know nothing about what I did so please stop looking like an idiot and stop trying to tell me what I did or did not do. If you continue to infer I lie, I will contact the moderators and get this whole silly thread wiped.

SenoraPostrophe · 23/01/2005 14:54

I'm not sure why I'm bothering to post this but anyhoo...

alwayssaythanku it sounds like you mean that you know lots of Phds who don't agree with you.

HMB is upset (as I would be) because "bending the truth" is the same as lying. If it isn't why did you bother to say it?

happymerryberries · 23/01/2005 14:54

You said

Aaah, I see. Nuff said

The inference is clear, beacuse I worked for a company I must be unbeleavable.

alwayssaythanku · 23/01/2005 14:55

that is your right happy. Please tell me where I said you lied? Those are your words and not mine.
But please dont take the discussion of vaccinations with you just because you disagree with me.

OP posts:
Gwenick · 23/01/2005 14:56

always - why can't you do the 'big' thing and admit you insulted HMB by insunuating that she lied and that she doesn't know what she's talking about.

She's given a reason for a lot of her 'knowledge' on the subject - no where does your direct expericene come from???

alwayssaythanku · 23/01/2005 14:59

"My job was to make sure the advertising companies didn't 'bend the truth' when it came to using quotes." I find these things mutually exclusive dont you?

It was a teenager recommending overdosing children on calpol. He pretended to have all sorts of medical reasoning and even set up a chat room of sorts to discuss overdosing.
Thankfully, he was outed and the thread was deleted.

right heres my last post on this particular subject. Its always interesting when a newbie comes on board. The big thing is for both of us to admit that we dont like what either has to say about the pro and con argument. This isnt about us as persons, its about what our mind sets are, our belief systems, and obviously they clash. If you wish to believe I said you lied in your job so be it. I dont seem to be able to dissuade you from that belief. But please dont detract from the debate at hand and trash everything i have said just because you feel victimised in your interpretation of my comments.

OP posts:
happymerryberries · 23/01/2005 15:11

No I'll trash what you have said because you are talking through your arse.

There, satisfied? Brought me down to your level.

Your ignorence of basic biology is breathtaking and you are foolish to put yourself up as an expert in a field in which you know next to nothing.

Incidentaly the same is not true of others with anti views and I take what they say very seriously indeed, Just not you!

Hmb you make perfect sense as usual (and I wonder if we ever came into contact in RL since I worked in drug safety at the CSM!!).

ASTU - you appear to have a very warped view of pharma companies to me. Yes, they are profit making businesses but are all very carefully regulated by independent bodies (MHRA/CSM for one).
