Truth about vaccinations quotes

alwayssaythanku · 20/01/2005 00:22

These are quoted from www.vaccinetruth.org

"Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world, indeed its the only thing that ever does." Margaret Mead

For us to bombard a newborn baby with a whole battery of vaccines as, in effect, their very first immunologic experience I think is reckless beyond measure. I would say it borders on the criminal.
Dr. Moscowitz

Cost for vaccinations: $10.00
Cost of trip to McDonalds after vaxing: $10.00
Cost of hospitalization after reacting to vax: $300,000.00*
Cost of avoiding vaxes and knowing your child never reacts: PRICELESS

  • Actual bill United States

What is the name of the test that can be given to determine if a child can safely receive a vaccine?

It's called a breath test. You hold a mirror in front of the child and if condensation appears, they are still alive and cannot "safely" receive a vaccine.

Steve

Vaccination is a medical procedure that causes permanent and irreversible modification of the immune system

"The only shot my son needs is a shot at the future."

......Lori Mcilwain

Modern medicine" may well be defined as "the experimental study of what
happens when poisonous chemicals are placed into malnourished human
bodies." A. Saul Contributing Editor,
Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine (www.orthomed.org)

You can always put the vaccines in... but you can never take them out.

And for any one who wants to talk about scare mongering, lets talk about the yearly "flu" injection scare we get each year. Or the scare that if we dont get jabs we will all die of polio, smallpox measles etc. Funny how we only hear one side of the scare mongering and not the other. If anyone wants to be scared read the heart breaking stories of persons who have lost their kids due to vaccination. Are they lying? Are they a minute number? No, they are thousands and its growing. Lets put Spencer's story on the NHS vaccination leaflet.

OP posts:
Gwenick · 24/01/2005 16:41

Don't even bring Flu into this - a dear great aunt of mine died 2yrs ago from a serious bout of the flu - she'd refused to have the flujab citing it wouldn't work (she was anti-vac) and her DH had gone along with her.

I notice you never answered my point about Yellow Fever and TB......

alwayssaythanku · 24/01/2005 16:43

then why use it? Sure people smoke thinking they arent going to get cancer, but they do, by the hundreds of thousands.

Why would i put anything that is not 100percent safe in my kid? Well, easy answer I wouldnt, at least not something in a needle.

Anyway, shock horror is a very good way of waking people up. We live in a tv visual oriented world and I for one would be very grateful to hear Spencer and other parents like him tell me his side of the vacs story.

You missed my point ASTU.

Gwenick · 24/01/2005 16:45

ASTU - do your children eat ONLY Organic and freerange food, no sweets, go crisps NO E numbers, no fast foods etc etc etc???

alwayssaythanku · 24/01/2005 16:45

Gwenick if you would like to check, it is NOT compulsory to obtain these jabs and one signs a waiver. This is another lie they feed to us. You do not HAVE to have an injection to enter these countries. I dont know who told you that, and I dont know where you get your information. It is not compulsory though that is what they would like you to believe.

OP posts:
flashingnose · 24/01/2005 16:47

Who are "they"?

Gwenick · 24/01/2005 16:47

ASTU - I''ve LIVED in this countries that want Yellow Fever and TB vaccinations - and whats more if I ever took my children there then yes I'd vaccinate them against those illnesses.......would you?

Oh and what happens if you children have coughs, colds, cuts, scratches, etc etc -

MistressMary · 24/01/2005 16:48

Always say thank you, why don't you voice your opinion at the Doctors and the Government?

CarrieG · 24/01/2005 16:50

If you'd like to skim back over this thread, ASTU, several people have asked you direct questions which you've either not seen or have ignored.

You might improve your credibility if you addressed yourself to answering them - quality not quantity of argument.

Gwenick · 24/01/2005 16:56

and when ASTU Does answer a direct question its just in the form of accusing the other person of either lying and not having a clue what theyre talking about!

Potty1 · 24/01/2005 16:56

Astu - been trying to keep up with this thread and TBH rapidly losing the will to live.

I vaccinated my three children - I'm not pro or anti-vac, just pro-choice. My eldest is 16 and if I had to make the decisions again I would probably go the same way, certainly posts like yours don't do anything to sway me, most of it is emotive scaremongering and not educated arguement. I do however find it wholly offensive that you compare mothers who vaccinate to people who take cocaine during pregnancy, what do you aim to achieve by insulting us in this way?

oatcake · 24/01/2005 16:59

err, can I tiptoe in and out here, before I pick DS up from nursery...

my twopenneth is that you will find whatever evidence you want to backup whatever point of view you have so... never the twain will meet...

It's all about informed decision making. Your GP should tell you all about vaccines - including their ingredients. I was mortified to learn of chick embryos being used as a base for some vaccines - I'm not a strict vegetarian, but if I was, then this would have been a terrible blow to my principles.

tiptoe out again without saying what I did with ds...

alwayssaythanku · 24/01/2005 17:20

Well, guess what folks somebody else is going to have the last word cause this is my last post. Never accused anyone of lying except "them", doctors governments and drug companies. didnt compare mothers who vax to cocaine addicts either. If you want to be insulted you can always find a way. I know many of you read my posts and I achieved what i wanted to do (just look at the number of threads). I could continue to do this for days but just dont have the time anymore.
Just remember the biggest insult we are talking about here is the insult to our kids immune systems. Its an assault like no other. Hope you all go on to read some of the sites I suggested. Maybe you knew about them before. For those who are pro vax, the argument to vax does not stand up, it is only bolstered by institutionalised mandating.

If you like i can tell my other mother friends about this web site and we will undoubtedly have a month long discussion. We vary in our approaches but we all agree that the vitriolics and lies about vaccinations being safe are untrue. Like i said, it takes a leap of faith and a certain mindset. The evidence is out there if you want to find it.

Merlin · 24/01/2005 17:25

Hurrah - you're going. I've resisted posting all day, but you have succeeded in annoying me so much I just have to post. Please don't bother telling your "mother friends" about this site. If they post in the same agressive/disrespectful tone as yourself then they are not wanted. Sorry if this is rude, but can't help myself (you probably wont be offended because you don't seem able to understand/respect other peoples views/values on here anyway. You obviously have strong views on the subject and that is your right, but you don't go pushing it on other people and just rubbishing their own opinions.

bubble99 · 24/01/2005 17:27

Socci, merlin - you're dead right.. it was because a lot of parents in this particular area had opted for single jabs instead of the MMR and presumably the gap between jabs had allowed exposure to infection. Socci, it was in the national press - and children from a group of three nursery/primary schools in N London were affected.
Thank you for responding in a civil manner

Merlin · 24/01/2005 17:30

bubble - I haven't been very civil now!!!

happymerryberries · 24/01/2005 17:31

An Alternate things you can do

  1. You can read all you can and become as education as you can on the pros and cons of vaccination.
  2. You can discuss the issue with as many different people as possible, who have different views. 3 You make the decision that suits you and your child best

OR

  1. You can have you head up your A 2 Complain about doctors saying 'we know best' while staying pityfully ignorent of basic science youself
  2. cut and paste reams of semi mindless rubbish that you have no understanding of, and generally piss people off, who have discussued this many times before and generaly know a lot more about the issue than you do(on both sides of the argument)

Go figure

Gobbledigook · 24/01/2005 17:32

Thank the Lord.

Please don't send any of your friends here.

Twiglett · 24/01/2005 17:49

I have always been interested in the vaccination debate (opted for sepvax for DS MMR, fought for thimerosal free primaries for DD .. before 5 in Ones)

However I must say .. I haven't even bothered to read this thread

because .. I DON'T READ COPY AND PASTE JOBS ... well I do read referenced articles and relevant pasted bits .. but I use mumsnet for individual views and experiences and not to read stuff I could find on a 'google search'

So I haven't been drawn into this one

oi twiglett, over on 'general attitudes' a poster has been kind enough to remind us of the mn policy

Gwenick · 24/01/2005 18:11

I hope mrs/mr troll has gone - they 'achieved what they wanted to achieve' - ie they annoyed a lot of people and got people's back up - so hopefully now they're off

Potty1 · 24/01/2005 18:16

Sounded like a comparison to me atsu.........and assault now too......... Bye, bye!
