For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

TooTicky · 23/04/2008 22:42

Bless you Pink

Stuffit - thanks for sympathy. I am Quite Cross.

stuffitllama · 23/04/2008 22:43

oh

it's my title!

TooTicky · 23/04/2008 22:43

Ooh ooh, I ate vegan cauliflower and potato cheese with tomato, cucumber and red cabbage.
I don't seem to be managing much in the way of breakfast and lunch atm.
Currently eating toast with peanut butter and cherry spread

stuffitllama · 23/04/2008 22:44

but was it speeding speeding or just a bit speeding
I know it's all wrong and it's our children
but very gutting to be done for 32 not 30

zippitippitoes · 23/04/2008 22:44

like the title toot i have emailed

pinkspottywellies · 23/04/2008 22:52

Oh TooT DH got caught speeding a while ago. Luckily when we started having pocket money (out of the joint money when I started working so we both got the same) I foresaw this and we agreed that half would come out of our pocket money. It's infuriating though isn't it. Such a stupid thoughtless thing and so expensive

I have ordered another mooncup. I can't afford one at all but it's GONE! Have searched all afternoon. I'm cross about that.

pinkspottywellies · 23/04/2008 22:53

Sorry for barging in with title by the way. Hope nobody minds.

OP posts:
TooTicky · 23/04/2008 22:53

It was 37. I sauid, In a 30 area?
He said, Yes but the road was straight and wide.
I said, Yes but, if it is a 30 zone, you get into trouble for exceeding that.
[exasperated]
We can't bloody afford this kind of thing.

TooTicky · 23/04/2008 22:57

It is an infuriating thing to lose Boco. Still, if/when it does turn up, it will be quite handy to have two.

pinkspottywellies · 23/04/2008 23:16

TooT he probably means, 'I lost track of my speed cause it was a straight road' rather than 'it's ok to speed cause it was on a straight road'. It's quite easy to feel safe when you feel like you can see if any hazards might come up. No better for you but just trying to explain.

Sorry for your loss Boco

Night all x

Oh franny, no wonder you are feeling gloomy. Must be very scary. Google does that I'm sure that there are lots of positive stories about this. It's just that the negative ones are easier to find. Can your midwife or Doula help?

OB, you sound very fed up. I'd be too.

Toot, why do you keep seeing dinosaurs? I don't understand.

FMF, other mum sounds very competitive. "I'm not assertive and I like to be helpful. But I am also a closet control freak" - that's me too

Happy birthday stuffit

I am not doing 10/10 any more. I can't eat 10 of anything these days. But am mainly eating fruit and not much else so still in the spirit of it. Can I stay? This feels like home.

TooTicky · 24/04/2008 07:48

UR, you are not allowed to leave. Can you stay indeed.

I see dinosaurs because when the computer is slow the cursor turns into a blue dinosaur. When itis VERY slow, it turns into a yellow dinosaur with a bow in its hair.

Are you rid of annoying man yet?

FrannyandZooey · 24/04/2008 08:11

I love the title

OsmosisBanana · 24/04/2008 09:18

Yay! You sound much better today Fran.

Happy birfday for yesterday Stuffit!!!!

I have had 2 bananas and some fresh OJ. The path of the righteous vegger is beset on alls sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

Tatties · 24/04/2008 09:26

zippitippitoes · 24/04/2008 09:50

i sent a text to the plumber dd1 will tell me this isnt good enough

thank you for mood essence i shall report bsack later

MrsCarrot · 24/04/2008 09:55

I am reporting a flowery pap of a mango. It was free as the grocer said it was past it but I was wrongly convinced that it's soft sides promised perfect ripeness. I think there should be some kind of invention, like a ripeness equivalent of a meat thermometer. Insert the needle, oh no, this mango need one more day and three hours.

OsmosisBanana · 24/04/2008 10:16

Good idea MrsC, let me know when you've made it. I have 2 mangoes on my windowsill hibernating ripening as we speak

IdrisTheDragon · 24/04/2008 10:33

Morning .

It is raining. I am meaning to go running. I am not sure these two statements go together...
