For anyone who wants a boost to their general health. The suggested goals are:

EAT 10 PORTIONS OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES EVERY DAY - if you don't usually eat much fruit and veg I would build up gradually or you could upset your digestion.

DO (AT LEAST) 10 MINUTES OF EXERCISE EVERY DAY - can be yoga, stretching or something more energetic. The plan is that the idea of doing 10 minutes is not too daunting, and having started you may well find you want to do more.

There are no restrictions on what you eat so long as you get your 10 fruit and veg as well. The focus is not on weight loss but on improving our energy levels and hopefully our general mood and well-being. Sign up below and post here to tell us how you're getting on and how you are feeling.

Basic guidance on what constitutes a portion of fruit and veg here and you can download more detailed information by following the link at the very bottom of the page

MrsC do you watch Mad Men? I can't think of a programme better suited to you actually. You will love the underwear and the smoking and the lidded eyes and everything. I know you will/do.

MrsCarrot · 27/04/2008 21:52

goodnight, 100

are you staying up late again doing your bathroom, Zippi? You will be exhausted tomorrow.

MrsCarrot · 27/04/2008 21:53

never heard of it?

Boco · 27/04/2008 21:55

I only caught a bit of one episode where a man was vomiting in a foyer and I had to turn over quickly.

ahundredtimes · 27/04/2008 21:55

It is the programme FOR YOU (and me). Is on at 10.00 on BBC4. You must watch.

Do you want a quick precis? Please watch. Honestly has amazing breasts, and loads of cigarettes and great clothes. Is couture television. You MUST. I INSIST.

MrsCarrot · 27/04/2008 21:57

zippitippitoes · 27/04/2008 21:59

night mrsc

holiday sounds excellent

berolina · 27/04/2008 22:03

100x - the teacher training college where I used to teach, hence whence my former students would come, holds a (not beach, admittedly, this was the Swabian Alps) volleyball tournament every year. So some volleyball expertise would be sort-of guaranteed. Let me know if your beach volleyball player runs away doesn't work out, and I will Make Enquiries.

Boco · 27/04/2008 22:03

Hello Tiger glad you had a good time

Night MrsC, see you tomorrow.

ladywombling · 27/04/2008 22:07

Don't ditehr FMF, just say yes!

Hello all, have had rocket, peach, watercress, peppers, carrot, cucumber, pineapple, raisins, blood oranges, dates, tomatoes, onions, lentils

UnderRated · 27/04/2008 22:13

Let's see

Everyone is emailing everyone else (except me & Bero)

Avi is the fount of all knowledge and her sister had a lot of sex

Ahundred is interviewing a professional beach ball player (is there really such a thing?) to take care of her naked ds2

Franny is doing heroin

Lully has a heron and is eating chocolate

FMF ate a pineapple

Tigerfeet is back & wombling just popped in

MrsC is training to be a financial advisor for the Book People and her mortgage is funded by heroin (which presumably she sells to Franny)

Zippi is confused by this thread. As am I.

Did I miss anything?

TooTicky · 27/04/2008 22:28

Oh dear, I am mis-reading too. I didn't think Avi would be raving about Jamie Oliver.

TooTicky · 27/04/2008 22:30

The thread seems rather dream-like this evening.

UnderRated · 27/04/2008 22:32

Isn't it odd. How are you Toot?

TooTicky · 27/04/2008 22:33

I'm okay. Baking bread and I must make something cakelike for lunchboxes. Sunday evenings are always like this. I wish I was organised.

How are you?

UnderRated · 27/04/2008 22:36

I'm ok. Isn't it a bit late for baking?

I need to make something with my aubergine but I am decidedly unmotivated. I don't like aungergines very much and am bored of baba ganoush and tomatoey sacey things.

TooTicky · 27/04/2008 22:38

Far too late but it needs doing.

I'm always pleased to have an aubergine - don't tend to get many. I make ratatouille and love it.

UnderRated · 27/04/2008 22:39

I think we'll be having ratatouille. Again.

Have fun with your baking.

TooTicky · 27/04/2008 23:31

My biscuits have spread and become one.
