Yes, twice, after washing.

roundtable · 27/01/2024 09:18

Yes with a tinted moisturiser. I can't bear.my face having that tight feeling. Plus I'm trying to keep the wrinkles at bay as much as possible!

GreyBlackLove · 27/01/2024 09:19

Yes, moisturizer in the morning, serum in the evening

BatshitCrazyWoman · 27/01/2024 09:19

Yes, and I've been doing it for decades.

Bkjahshue · 27/01/2024 09:20

Yes, for ages I wasn’t but my skin is much nicer now that I do

Bandwaggon · 27/01/2024 09:21

Yes.

What issues are you having? Dryness or oiliness/spottiness/other? There is probably a suitable moisturiser out there for you, whichever it is.

WhamBamThankU · 27/01/2024 09:23

Yes for about 10 years now.

BoilingHotand50something · 27/01/2024 09:25

I used to use moisturiser in the mornings after a shower only and never bother with an evening routine. I even used to leave my make up on. I have got very good skin for my mid 50s age. I have started a skincare routine as part of a bit of a health kick / reinvention. It makes me feel good but I am not convinced it is making any difference. In fact, if anything, I feel a bit more wrinkly!

vincettenoir · 27/01/2024 09:25

Yes, my skin feels really dry after a shower.

thestorm · 27/01/2024 09:26

I didn’t until 3 years ago (46 now). I booked a facial as a spur of the moment treat to myself. My skin felt so much better afterwards and I started cleansing and moisturising daily since then. Was very honest with the therapist when I went and she helped me work out the best cleanser and moisturiser for me to use. The one she recommended was pricey but have since discovered the body shop vitamin e range which is cheaper but actually better.

Ragwort · 27/01/2024 09:28

Yes - have used Nivea for years so slap it on morning and night, I always wake in the middle of the night so put a load more on then fortunately I sleep alone Grin.

AnnaMagnani · 27/01/2024 09:32

No. I don't wear makeup, face gets wet in the shower. That's it. Face appears to sort itself out.

I get a lot of compliments on my skin - basically because it has minimal sun damage and I never smoked.

worldwidetravel2017 · 27/01/2024 09:33

My mums opinion is that as i shower every am - she says that doesnt help my skin

But i need my am shower

Will experiment with some moisturisers - i have sensitive skin
And form for often reacting to stuff tho

No. It makes my skin tingle, and feel slimy.
Soap and water once a day here. You probably shouldnt listen to me!
SPF most days in summer.... Again, makes my skin feel horrid.

GoldenMeadow · 27/01/2024 09:33

Yep every day after washing no exceptions!

I also can't bare the tight feeling.

Chickoletta · 27/01/2024 09:38

Yes. I’m very low maintenance in other ways but do use a day cream in the morning and a night cream before bed. I used the No7 Protect and Perfect ones for years but have now switched to Lacura ones (Aldi) which are amazing dupes for a fraction of the price.
I don’t faff with cleansers and stuff though - just use a Garnier face wash in the shower. Used to be prone to spots but get them very rarely now.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 27/01/2024 09:38

69 and have moisturised every day since I was 14. Currently using Nivea Soft during the day and Superdrug's Radiance night cream with a serum twice a day underneath.

saltnvini · 27/01/2024 09:38

Yes

Mudflapflat · 27/01/2024 09:40

No, never.

BarelyCoping123 · 27/01/2024 09:42

Yes, morning (spf moisturiser) and night. Also neck/decolletage and hands. Have done since early 20s. If i miss one, my skin looks and feels awful!

Twoshoesnewshoes · 27/01/2024 09:43

Yes, every morning and night, morning I use a retinol based cream with spf. I’ve been doing it since my teens (oil of Ulay back then!) and so have my kids.
my DH has same routine as me. He’s more wrinkled though cos he’s always gurning 😂

Twoshoesnewshoes · 27/01/2024 09:44

And as @BarelyCoping123 says, my skin feels awful if I don’t. Really dry and itchy, and lines appear overnight.

Cotswoldmama · 27/01/2024 09:52

Always a thinner moisturiser with spf in the morning and a really thick one at the moment nivea in the blue tub in the evening after tret and hyaluronic acid to hold all the moisture in.

otherwayup · 27/01/2024 09:54

I've been moisturising twice a day since I was a young teen. I also do my neck religiously and have passed this routine onto ds & dd!

I'm 52 and have really good skin, it maybe luck/genetics but I have a feeling all the skincare is now paying off!

MissyB1 · 27/01/2024 09:54

Yes twice a day and have been doing that for about 30 years. I use Rosehip oil followed by the Aldi caviar cream.
