Yes every morning. I still look my age though. I'm not a typical Mumsnetter who looks 10 years younger.

I have very dry skin and don't like having a flakey face.

mondaytosunday · 27/01/2024 18:49

Yes. Wish I had started younger and that there was spf back in the day.

Morning and night .

FedUpMumof10YO · 27/01/2024 19:16

Yes since 15. I am 44 now.

Ain't nobody got time for that

What...thirty seconds to squeeze a bit of cream out of a tube and rub it on your face? Seriously? 🤦‍♀️

puddypud · 27/01/2024 20:02

I've moisturised my face twice a day since I was a teenager. I use a hyaluronic acid serum and an eye cream now as well.

I have sensitive skin. Try The Ordinary moisturiser OP. Very light, hydrating, no perfumes and kind to sensitive skin.

Yes. Twice a day. Every day. Have done for decades. I also moisturise my whole body after showering and have since I was a teen. I think it’s odd people don’t

This

My mums opinion is that as i shower every am - she says that doesnt help my skin

But i need my am shower

Will experiment with some moisturisers - i have sensitive skin
And form for often reacting to stuff tho

Try CeraVe, I have very sensitive skin too. I moisturise twice a day .

Wheeeeee · 28/01/2024 10:42

No. My Mum tried to get me into a cleanse, tone, moisturise routine when I was a teenager but it never really stuck. If I wear make up (quite rare these days!) I take it off with micellar water, but other than that I don't really use any face or body products beyond soap/shower gel. I do wear spf in the summer though.

My skin is perfectly nice, and I don't recognise the tight feeling that other people describe so I guess my skin must be a different type. Maybe it'll change as I get older, I'm only 38.

No. I don't wear makeup, face gets wet in the shower. That's it. Face appears to sort itself out.

I get a lot of compliments on my skin - basically because it has minimal sun damage and I never smoked.

Same here 🤷🏼‍♀️

CatamaranViper · 28/01/2024 16:30

Yes. I use a squalane cleanser following by toner, serum and moisturizer morning and night. Takes a couple of mins and I've seen a huge improvement.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 28/01/2024 16:51

Yes Cerave pump bottle lotion in the morning( I find it's quicker and easier)
PM moisturising cream at night
I have dry and very sensitive skin

shearwater2 · 28/01/2024 16:58

My face, yes. My body only once a week tops after I've exfoliated in the shower. At this time of year I only shower every other day if I can - after going to the gym.

MissyB1 · 28/01/2024 18:07

I moisturise my legs every morning after my shower as I have dry skin all over. I use the Nivea rich pump bottle or ponds cocoa butter.

43ontherocksporfavor · 28/01/2024 19:43

Face day and night since teens( I’m 50s) but body not often.
