Yes once a day but probably should do it at night too

idontlikealdi · 27/01/2024 15:29

In the morning I use a vit c toner, moisturiser, dry oil and an spf spray

In the evening I cleanse with a vit c cleanser, use a nighttime moisturiser and twice a week add in tret.

DocOck · 27/01/2024 15:30

Yes every morning, my foundation wouldn't sit right without it.

I don't have dry skin so it doesn't need moistured.

56 and no significant wrinkles yet, lucky I guess so far. Maybe they will appear in the next few years and I'll regret not using it!

Thudercatsrule · 27/01/2024 15:53

I use serum, day cream and eye cream every morning, use nivea a couple of times during the day and then night cream and eye cream and a retinol routine twice a week.

APurpleSquirrel · 27/01/2024 15:59

Yes - a light serum, eye cream & day cream in the morning; & richer serum, eye cream & night cream at night.

MalcolmTuckersSwearBox · 27/01/2024 16:00

Yes, twice daily. Not a fancy moisturiser as I'm sensitive to fragrance and colour in skincare but a rich moisturiser as I have dry skin.

I don't smoke (never have), wear make up very rarely (maybe once a month on average), wear SPF in spring/summer/early autumn, drink alcohol infrequently and moderately (averages to half a bottle of wine a month, if that). I do eat sugar, drink caffeine and spend a lot of time outside in all weathers though, which probably aren't great for my skin.

BlindurErBóklausMaður · 27/01/2024 16:01

I do, and always have, but I have dry skin.
Check out Nadine Baggott's videos on Youtube. If you use an spf and don't have dry skin, then that might be fine, the spf doubles as a moisturizer. NB's 5 products video is also excellent.
Nobody needs 18 different products. Skin needs to be clean, hydrated, and protected from the sun. With a vitamin C (in the morning, as it is an anti-oxidant so works alongside your sunscreen) and a vitamin A if you want to go down that route in the evening.

Nothing needs to be spendy. Especially cleanser and moisturiser.

DrunkenElephant · 27/01/2024 16:03

Yes, I cannot stand that tight feeling otherwise.

Aldi one with SPF in the morning (I use SPF separately afterwards too, there’s not actually enough in moisturisers that include SPF to protect the skin) and Nivea soft at night.

muddyford · 27/01/2024 16:04

I have always had outdoor hobbies so have been moisturising daily since I was 12 or so. Now 61 and hardly any lines. Saggy bits yes, wrinkles no.

3beesinmybonnet · 27/01/2024 16:11

Yes every morning since I was 14, now in my 60s but look younger tbh. Now apply E45 every morning and evening.

ThePoshUns · 27/01/2024 16:16

Yes all my adult life.
Cleanse , tone and moisturise every morning and evening

PossomPatrol · 27/01/2024 16:22

Yes, I always moisturise, it’s a must!

I’ve been moisturising my face since I was about 13. I’m 37 now, I think it’s paid off.

Familiaritybreedscontemptso · 27/01/2024 16:24

Yes always. Morning and night. With spf. Dd is 11 and already has a moisturising routine too.

Hatty65 · 27/01/2024 16:25

No. I wash face with a warm wet face flannel in a morning and towel dry. That's my beauty routine and I'm nearly 60. My skin's pretty good. Doesn't seem to need moisturiser.

riotlady · 27/01/2024 16:35

Yes, every morning and most nights. Couldn’t wash my face without moisturising, it feels all dry and horrible

tiredoftheBS · 27/01/2024 16:36

Yup!

Berlinlover · 27/01/2024 16:37

Yes, since I was 11.

Papyrophile · 27/01/2024 16:41

I do, but more in winter than summer.

Startyabastard · 27/01/2024 16:41

Yes I do, my skin is like sand paper without it. I use gentle Moo Goo full cream moisturiser and it is very low, almost no scent and contains no petrochemicals and no alcohol. For the price, it is very reasonable also. A £12 tube lasts me 6 months. I mix facial oil in it also.

justtidying · 27/01/2024 16:44

Always. So does my mum and so did my Gran.
None of us wear makeup either, this is our skin care routine.

I often get complimented on my soft skin.

blackpanth · 27/01/2024 16:45

Nope
