Seriously as he is so young i would call an ambulance, they will be happy you did.

DaphneHarvey · 08/12/2007 20:53

Would you feel better if one of you could just take him straight to A & E?

If he is really struggling call an ambulance. They will have nebulizer etc.

Am here holding your hand. Friend recently had newborn admitted to hospital with bronchiolitis. Only a few days old like your bub. They are all fine now.

Thinking of you ...

RubySlippers · 08/12/2007 20:53

999 i think

don't wait and worry for longer than you need to

mylittleponey · 08/12/2007 20:53

agree with getting to hospital - call an ambulance

mollymawk · 08/12/2007 20:53

I would say just go to A&E or get an ambulance, don't wait.
Thinking of you.

BettySpaghetti · 08/12/2007 20:53

Don't wait for them to call you back -call an ambulance

madamy · 08/12/2007 20:53

JARM - don't know you but had to reply. If you're not happy with waiting for call back, phone for ambulance - he's tiny, better be safe than sorry. Don't take him anywhere - driving would be dangerous if you're upset and you'll have no medical 'back up' until you get to A&E.

WideWebWitch · 08/12/2007 20:53

agree, call 999

madamy · 08/12/2007 20:54

Just read more - 1 hour TOO LONG - phone 999

mumofmonSTARsOfBethlehem · 08/12/2007 20:54

within the hour? for a 9 day old baby??

Get thee to A&E, in an ambulance if needs be.

Is there anyone you can call to watch the girls?

cazboldy · 08/12/2007 20:54

no don't take him yourself - get an ambulance love. try not to panic x

mollymawk · 08/12/2007 20:55

Yes, now agree with madamy - don't go yourself, phone 999.
