Hi all.

So glad I did go to A&E - docs didnt phone back til 10.50pm!

Just home from A&E, he has a "croup type thing" to quote the pead, saline drops up nose and to administer 30mg of calpol - whatever that is in mls!

Were seen very quickly, but poor little thing was so distressed the whole time we were there. Is really struggling to BF too, so have been advised to express and cup feed from a bottle lid after a BF.

Thank you all for making go there and then, i got myself a little worked up and was panicking.

Will hold all of your hands should the need arise, but for now I am off to bed to get some sleep!!!

He is 9 days old and your son, of course you panicked - who wouldn't?

So glad he is okay!

Meant also to add that the Pead is going to phone tomorrow morning to check how he is and if necessary will see us again - she really was fantastic.
