I have a massive fear of bleeding between my periods.

I check every half hour to an hour daily.
Since having my DD 20 Months ago I tend to spot at certain times in between periods.

Iv had GPs look at me, 12 months ago scans in my ovaries (all clear) 12 mi the ago a smear (all clear) and a gynecologists loom at me and say I look fine, its just a hormone imbalance.

I tend to spot in the middle of my cycle and then I have ovalatiom discharge and then I don't spot until I have my period.

This month tho, its 7 days before my period is due (I have 35day cycles) and I have the smallest ever streaks of pale pink blood in my discharge. Iv inky seen it because iv shine a bloody torch on it. It's happened twice in the last two days.

I'm so worried. Every time I ot to my GP she says 'Your smear is clear, The gyno said it was a hormonal imbalance....what do you want me to do?!...she gave me the pill about 5 months ago but I havbt taken it as I'm scared it will develop into cancer. I saw her again last week and ahe just said 'try taking the pill'.

I can't live with this fear anymore. I'm 27 and its literally taking over my thoughts. I check and I check and I check every day...some times I even have to were sudocream because of the repetitive wiping to check.

Why have I got light pink streaks when I wipe? 7 days before period is due ? I just want to go to sleep to stop the worry

I did bleed after DcS births bit looking back probably the normal amount for about three weeks. However I was constantly on hr phone to the nidwifes asking if it was normal!

I knew CC didn't have to be gushes of blood and it sometimes only showed minor symptoms. I am trying to trust my GP tho that when she had a look at me last month she couldn't see any thing.

Let's hope today I don't get much spotting....

Update: I am still spotting but trying so so hard not to keep checking. Probably every hour.

I have been getting on with things as normally as I can considering my worst nightmare is happening in my pants atm!!
I have taken my kids out and carried on with exciting plans ( our wedding!) and eveytime I feel scared I am telling myself it's just hormonal, I have had checks...I have just started a brand new pill and I have read that new pills can indeed causes spotting. Especially the pill that I am on with only 30% Ethinylesteadiol. I am telling myself that if I do need to go back to the GPs in three months if the spotting hasn't called down... only I can change the fact that I normally sit in the waiting room rocking and feeling sick and shaky....this time (if I need to go) I won't behave that way.

I want to check now but I know what I will find and there is no point. I'm going to make a model with DS instead....

Still spotting. I am absolutely pissed off and fed up. I'm not anxious anymore. I feel low, slow, fed up.

I don't know if deep down I'm having a panic attack but I feel hot, headachy...just shit...maybe I have a bit of a virus tho as i was boiling up in the night.

I know its the pill that making me spot I just feel low atm

I think you should call MIND- we linked to the phone numbers before. You need someone to talk to in RL and hand hold.

People have explained time after time that this bleeding is hormonal and will carry on until it all settles down with the Pill. You aren't helping yourself, because any anxiety affects hormones and can actually make your odd bleeding worse.
