Doing leek, sweetcorn and broccoli in cheese sauce topped with breadcrumbs for dinner.

I don't really worry about dd picking up bugs. dh and I both were allowed to do the muddy outdoor stuff when we were growing up. I belong to the school of thought that thinks their immune systems become stronger of they are exposed to 'clean' dirt (if that makes sense??)
(Obviously I draw the line at actual mud/dirt)
Mind you, I still sterilise the pots I use to freeze her food.
But that's my only paranoia

you've all been busy i see. any fairy cakes left???
i've been at work, novelty has worn off now, the getting up early is horrible, yesterday i thought i pushed the snooze button at 6.30 and then looked at the clock again and it was 7.17!!! i never got up so quickly!!, ds1 and 2 were both still asleep also.
but i had to quickly wake ds2 change him, bf feed him and express from the other side at the same time as feeding, then give him his breakfast, somehow we were out at 7.55. dont know how we managed it.
today i got a lay in as dp was here to take ds1 to school, so got up at 8.30!!! heaven!! i wish ds2 would sleep through though, he woke 4 times last night and in the end - sin of all sins- i let him sleep next to me as i was so knackered. dp was on a nightshift again last night. last one tonight though then 3 nights off. but then when it is his night off ds2 sleeps better!!! itd not fair, im sure he only does it to prove me wrong or something.

so have you set up a profile? i might have a look and see, is it easy??

well, Ive done it but my photos wont allow themselves to be uplinked. I will have another tinker in a few days.

Worley you missed some sparring on the toddler group thread! Macdog got hammered and came on all guns blazing! Very exciting.

I went to toddler grp today and it was OK as I met another ignored mum, and her daughter is 6mths, born 13 July 06. It's her 3rd one though...her other two are 9yrs and 4yrs and she said out of them all the 4yr old one is a nightmare. All girls, BTW.

i knocked a tv on to my big toe this morning and it bloody hurts still, ds1 had a friend round to play after school, so i was quickly giving his bedroom the once over, (just in case his friend reported back to his mum that our house is a tip etc etc, which it is normally i just had to tidy up for today)
and ds1 has my old tv on his bedroom floor, (i dont know why its ended up in there, but its going to the dump tomorrow, i have had it scince i was 12.) somehow it managed to tip forward and land on my toe, ds2 was having his morning nap in his cot but soon woke up when i screamed and fell in a heap on the floor crying!! dp had to get up to see what was wrong, saw me sitting there howling and went back to bed.

i think i might be heading down my old depressed road again, as i ended up sobbing for ages,even when my toe had calmed down. i think maybe going back to work is starting me off again, either that i just have no patience anymore with anyone, apart from ds1&2.

im going to have a black toenail, how gross is that!!

i will click now, i just have to close some windows have so many open ..

you just probably feel low because of the change of returning to work and being tired, etc.
It is a big change, dont underestimate it.
Talk to your dh and family about it all, and usof course!

If you still feel bad, see doctor and get some help just as you make the change to working mama.

oh my god, i just had to get up and watch Big Brother, that jade goody is so horrible, i really hope that she falls on her arse after this. and those other girls for not doing anything, just sitting there laughing, i cant believeit!.

BB know whats going on in the news and are just highlighting it even more.

the thing with Jade and Jack, is that they are utterly, embarrassingly dense and I dont know how they function in real life at all. Like who fills out forms? teaches her sons to read?

I think the mate thing is broken, so I went public with mine.

i've just got it on in the background but when it started gettign heated i had to get up to go see what was going on.

whos looking after her kids while shes gone? Jeff? (im soo sad i know his name{blush}) i couldnt leave my kids that long.
