Just put that one to my dh. If your mum were a midwife, would you have a problem with me not wanting her there. The answer is decidedly no and I get on REALLY well with my mil. It might be seen as a bit weird actually and I'm not a prude. Dh says you probably want a degree of separation and a professional relationship.

So tell your dh to put that in his pipe and smoke it.

here i am!!
i've been cooking bloody cakes all day for work tomorrow for red nose day, i made the nigella cupcakes and with white icing on top and red midget gem gum thibgs as noses. a couple of our dr's are having a sponsered beard shave and one of the radiographers has stupidlt agreed to have his legs waxed. i cant even stand that pain!!!
one time i put the wax strip on but just couldnt bring myself to rip it off, so i waited till dp got home and he pulled it off for me!!

my dp's mum wanted to be there for the birth os ds1. THAT caused lots of arguments, i can tell you. as she asked me to my face and i blatantly told her no!!!so, to cut a long story short, she waited outside the maternity ward until he was out, then came in, (before they had even stitched me up!!!as she told them she was MY MUM!!!i had said i didnt want any visitors till the next morning, i had eclampsia so was not well at all, i literally couldnt move let alone put up with her telling me i should have been doing this or that!!!

I think you all know my feelings to my PIL .
dh being a bit of a tosser himself at moment.

i dropped ds1 off at cubs tonight and he started crying when we got there, as he has decided he didnt want to go any more.....
i told him he had to go this week and the next as i have paid for the sessions so hes going...
he then said i must hate him for making him go and that i just want to get rid of him now i have ds2 and dont want him anymore!!! and that he hates cubs and it is a total slaughterhouse in there!!!!!!!!!!!!
WTF!!! a slaughterhouse???? where did that one come from!!
i told him that if he thought i wanted to get rid of him , didnt he think i would send him some where like boarding school as only 2 hours a week isnt really getting rid of him is it?
and he knows i love him as we have special nights in together, (movie night is his fave)and so now as dp is on a night shift ds1 is asleep in my bed to cheer him up, (he gets in my bed as much as he can still) so i am now off to bed with ds1 on one side and ds2 in his cot on the other and BOTH of the snore.

hes got really cheecky, he has started using his fingers as apostraphe things when he says "certain" words. i tell yo, hes such a tweenager. these baby years are so wasy when they dont argue back!!

oh and the end of the cubs story is that after he was in there, he joined in as usual, had a great time, learnt how to do the recovery position, which he has practised on me 5 times already before i made him go to bed ( i hate laminate flooring, thats why ds2 doesnt want to crawl!!!)and cant wait for next weeks now.

8yo's are murder for changing with the weather. I was a Tawny Owl with Brownies and they were horrific. he maybe got bumped/knocked over during a game or something.
Glad he's enjoying it again now!

god worley cant believe that MIL story!!!

Just seen Ant and Dec on Red nose day and was briefly surprised that Dec had stubble, and then realised they are slightly older than me... Can't watch it now they are crying. Don't mean to sound callous but I don't need to see all the suffering.

Dh just cooked fillet steak with onions, mushrooms, salad, tomatoes and my potato wedges Mmmm. And I had mine slightly rare and I didn't wash the salad

I am now the size of a small bungalow. Am going to be the size of 6 bedroomed detached in 18 weeks. Didn't look pregnant until really late last time. Have people asking me when I'm due because I am VERY obviously up the duff. Too much kissing is how my neighbour described it

ha ha ha I loved having a bump and being visibly preggers...I am starting to quite want to be pregnant again...

my younger sister has now been diagnosed with endometriosis, it is genetic so I may have it too.
I hope she can have kids, the middle one is now 8 weeks pregnant I think, all going ok so far,

macdawg, my neighbours didnt realise i was preggers either!!! i was gutted. and one of ds1's friends mum saw me and said she didnt realise i was pregnant either!!
i must admit i didnt have like a big belly or anything, i was just humungus all over, the swelling didnt help either, i was just a blob i had a nice little bump ith ds1 till i got the eclapmsia then i was told that i looked like some one had pumped me up with air like a football.

i want to go camping this summer, we were thinking about cornwall as we went to newquay a few years ago and it was lovely (did the eden project etc) but ds1 has decided he wants to go to wales as thats where they make DR who!!
maybe... apprently they have 400 different castles there!!

i didnt get the JT cd!! i got a massive bluenosed teddy bear and big card thats almost as tall as ds1. the bear is bigger than ds2.
dp is now regretting taking ds1 in to the shops and telling him to pick out what he wanted to get me!! he had to double check the shop assistant when she rang the bill up!!!he says we could have got a new car for the price of that bear!!!! ha ha, that will teach him!!

trouble is, its fathers day in june!!

Happy Mother's Day. I got a beautiful Pieris for my garden. It has gorgeous flowers on it and smells beautiful and is perfect for the shady area I have.

today i am on "holiday" i still have a fe days i have to use up before the end of april. so just dropped ds2 off at nursery ( i have to pay wether hes there or not, so thought i may as well have a break for a few hours) and am just sorting out my ipod before heading off to the gym, BUT somehow i ended up on the internet on mums net. i cant be non here all day so kick me off in 5 mins please...
i am also going to scrub the bathroom while i have no children.

p.s lots of snow here, it hasnt stuck though and there is lots of slush now, with some sleet as well.

ds1 has a school trip tomorrow to some wildlife marshes so hes hoping its still going ahead.

Bugger off and clean that BATHROOM Worley. Just off to village for nice walk. Taking DD swimming this afternoon so hopefully she will sleep now. Looking for baby reins. It is a gorgeous day here. Sunny and crisp and cold.

Went to Buena Vista Social Club last night and had a brilliant time. Little one salsa danced in my tummy all night. Journey to Liverpool was hairy though. All the snow and sleet and blizzards and twats driving with no lights on!

the snows all gone now and its lovely and sunny. i have 30 mins of peace left before going to school run and then off to nursery.
i have a packet of mince to cook for te, shall i do spag bog, meatballs or chilli. what else could i cook with mince. we had roast yesterday so not going to do shepards pie or ds1 would kill me having to eat a nice healthy meal 2 days in a row..
