I was asked to start this, honest.

Come and share a sisterly cup of organic carrot juice and tell us why you love yours.

A is the larger one, isn't it?

NOMurDErousPLUME · 20/10/2006 18:41

A is the larger one

NOMurDErousPLUME · 20/10/2006 18:42

You need the B if you are tight of mimsie....

Spagblog · 20/10/2006 18:42

tight of mimsie - snort! love it

FillyjonkthePumpkinEater · 20/10/2006 18:43

ta carolina

I had a friend at uni who had tss, it was not a laugh, I can tell you . Christ it was awful, actually, especially since some of the men on our course actually found it mildy amusing

Ok then, are we agreed that I am sufficiently slack-fanjo'd enough to warrant a B? Both my babies were + 8 lb, if that makes any difference

FillyjonkthePumpkinEater · 20/10/2006 18:44

aaargh I mean B

CarolinaMooncup · 20/10/2006 18:44

maybe you're doing your mimsie a disfavour, NdP?

B is only 6% wider than A anyhow - not sure why they make sure a big deal of it tbh...

FillyjonkthePumpkinEater · 20/10/2006 18:44

no I don't, I mean A

FrannyandZooey · 20/10/2006 18:44

Oh good lord I am sorry

I need a refresher course on fanjo sizing

possibly a remedial course

OP posts:
NOMurDErousPLUME · 20/10/2006 18:45

If you have had a vaginal birth then you need the mop bucket sized one (size A), regardless of your age

FillyjonkthePumpkinEater · 20/10/2006 18:45

or do I mean B?

Am thoroughly confused now

Which is bigger?

Monkeytrousers · 20/10/2006 18:46

Spreading the word up north!

NOMurDErousPLUME · 20/10/2006 18:46

Bloody hell, talk about misinformation !

It confused me as to why they made the bigger one 'A' and the smaller one 'B'

HelloMamaMoonCup · 20/10/2006 18:46

I think A is the larger one ('A'fter Childbirth!) ha ha

I am a complete convert and have been busily trying to convince my friends. I have converted 2 people and I am sure many others will come round. I think it is brilliant and it is definitely a point of fascination for other people. I do get asked about it at the most embarrassing times (friends hen night special meal - "oh HelloMamaMoonCup, you must tell everyone about your mooncup" Cue silence....

NOMurDErousPLUME · 20/10/2006 18:47

"Size A measures 46mm in diameter and 50mm in length.

Size B measures 43 mm in diameter and 50mm in length."

CarolinaMooncup · 20/10/2006 18:47

oh crap, A is 6% bigger than B, I meant.

This is your fault, Franny.

lulumama · 20/10/2006 18:49

You need the B if you are tight of mimsie....

another contender for quote of the week! ROFL!

NOMurDErousPLUME · 20/10/2006 18:49

Best get doing my pelvic floors then, save myself another £20

CarolinaMooncup · 20/10/2006 18:49

Filly, your poor mate - was she ok in the end?

FrannyandZooey · 20/10/2006 18:53

Someone on here sold her old one to another MNer NDP

I am sure you could sell a lightly used one with no bother

Califanjo's one would fetch a lot on eBay, for that matter

OP posts:
NOMurDErousPLUME · 20/10/2006 18:56

I haven't used it at all. I did trim the tail off though, but it has been nowhere near my ahem

Tatties · 20/10/2006 19:00

I would just give the B a go, NDP, it might be ok.

NOMurDErousPLUME · 20/10/2006 19:04

I think I will Tatties

FillyjonkthePumpkinEater · 20/10/2006 19:09

ah she was fine, carolina

does not use tampax now tho

and nor do I

AlfredAitchcock · 20/10/2006 19:47

i described wearing a mooncup the other day as being simultaneously liberated yet utterly secure... it's amazing. (but there is a bit of schlurping until you get the hang of the bear down and twist.) oh, and you suddenly realise that wearing a tampon is like being dessicated from the inside out.
