Wahhhh...

I've had this lump on my labia for many years now, hard but painless.

Since a few days ago - I blame spin class - it's got really big, red and painful. It's the size of a large grape and is mostly hard. I've had mag sulph paste on it, germolene, hot baths, tentative squeezes... nothing - It's hard to dress too, thanks to the location.

I've had similar before, hence my mag sulph knowledge, but this just doesnt seem to be coming to a head, paracetamol and ibuprofen are not touching the pain.

Any ideas???

Oh bless you.

P.S. if it doesn't burst, please please please film them lancing it!

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 15:47

Sebaceous cyst. I'll ask the team to wear a go pro helmet?

I need to take a pic...

I want to see the picture!

VelmaD · 15/04/2014 16:01

Was he suitably impressed by it though?

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 16:04

He was indeed! He started saying 'you point it out for me..' Then stopped and went 'oh! Nope I see it!'

Right. DH says you do not want it to burst. He knows. Wink

Twighlightsparkle · 15/04/2014 17:08

Poor thing, hope it pops before tomorrow , we need an approx amount of pus when it does though. I get small ones every month( must be a hormone thing don't know) and they are fab to pop.

Sparklingbrook · 15/04/2014 17:09

No-it must not pop! My DH is adamant. Grin

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 17:14

If it doesn't pop then I have to go to the infirmary!!! I want a home drain experience!

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 15/04/2014 17:15

But if you go to the infirmary they will take the sac out. Wink

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 17:18

I've got hundreds of sacs, sacs for life... A cupboard full :(

I may as well tell you the full DH story-

DS burst it with a head-butt the day before DH's GP appointment. GP took one look and sent to the hospital where they did their best to remove all the gunk however because it had burst they couldn't get it all. Sad He had weeks of draining and packing. Sad

If it had been neatly lanced and drained etc apparently they could have got it all out.

This may all be personal to DH of course but it sort of made sense IYKWIM.

Chimchar · 15/04/2014 17:27

I keep bursting out laughing at 'follicle bollickle'.
Genius!!

Glad you got it seen to Kato. Hope it pops before tomorrow. I'd have stabbed at it with a pin WAYYYYYYY before now. Grin

Sparklingbrook · 15/04/2014 17:28

I could send DS2 round to headbutt it? he's 12 now though. Grin

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 17:31

Grin Kato.

The GP said she was very disappointed that she didn't have any students at the moment because they would have all been brought in to look at DH's. but it was on his shoulder. Grin

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 17:36

How big was his?

OP posts:
Sparklingbrook · 15/04/2014 17:40

Smaller than yours by the sound of it Kato-large cherry tomato size.

He had had it years about pea size, then all of a sudden it increased in size and went red and shiny.

DiaryofWimpyMum · 15/04/2014 17:45

I had a Bartholin cyst down their so they had to operate, I had the OP at 5.30pm then came home around 11pm, I was walking strangely for around a week or so, then it was fine.

Hope it goes okay.

magimedi · 15/04/2014 17:49

I had one of those sebaceous cysts in the same area, Kato. Had to go to out of hours on a bank holiday w/e as it was so bloody painful. Got given antibiotics & told to go to GP if it hadn't improved in a couple of days. Spent a busy day & had a shower at end of day & lo & behold there was a big head to it, with a bit of leakage. All I had to do was gently press & gallons of muck came out - it was wonderful.

It was sore around it for several days & I was obsessive about washing it after every loo visit.

Hope yours goes POP asap!

BoiledPiss · 15/04/2014 17:50

Kato have you popped yer bollock yet?

Also pics please :)

noddyholder · 15/04/2014 17:51

Go to the doctor I had similar and ended up having surgery

Sparklingbrook · 15/04/2014 17:57

Whatever DH's was full of smelt absolutely revolting. Sad

Thattimeofyearagain · 15/04/2014 18:20

I need a picture of the follicle bollicol !

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 18:23

I've taken one but don't know how to share without causing offence to those who don't want to see it? Will I try and put it in my profile for a very limited time?
