Wahhhh...

I've had this lump on my labia for many years now, hard but painless.

Since a few days ago - I blame spin class - it's got really big, red and painful. It's the size of a large grape and is mostly hard. I've had mag sulph paste on it, germolene, hot baths, tentative squeezes... nothing - It's hard to dress too, thanks to the location.

I've had similar before, hence my mag sulph knowledge, but this just doesnt seem to be coming to a head, paracetamol and ibuprofen are not touching the pain.

Any ideas???

Morning Kato just marking my place... But seriously hope you managed to sleep last night

MimsyBorogroves · 15/04/2014 08:16

Ouch. I wouldn't be able to leave it alone myself, but I think you should probably see the GP. If it looks like a bollock, would lancing count as neutering?

susiedaisy · 15/04/2014 08:27

Waiting for updateSmile

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 08:45

Morning. Awful sleep akin to dreaming about that party game where you pass a balloon between your knees!

I got up a 6am for painkillers and an investigation. Big shiny and angry, still no head.

Got the drs at 2.50 which is going to be mortifying but next problem is phoning my boss... Wtf do I say?

Errrrrrm "problem with my bollock"?

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 08:50

Female plumbing problems.

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 08:53

Told him it was a gym related hamstring, can't walk or drive which is true and will explain resultant limping/john Wayne in.

Hoping mil will give me a lift to the gp later, driving was the worst yesterday!

"Very painful skin infection"?

KoalaFace · 15/04/2014 08:55

Grin "gym related"

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 08:56

Ouch!

Whack it with the wooden spoon!

candycoatedwaterdrops · 15/04/2014 09:37

Glad you're going to the GP. As much as I love a good sporn thread, I would hate to see someone suffer more.

I feel for you. Fanjo problems are always awkward.

Get better soon, lumpy Gym! Flowers

P.S. this is why exercise is bad for you. Wink

Ooh judgy programme next 'Saints and Scroungers'....

VelmaD · 15/04/2014 11:46

The not being able to sit or sleep is the worst bit about stuff going weird down there. When did you last inspect for a head?

Madratlady · 15/04/2014 11:51

Do NOT take random antibiotics that you have in the cupboard (why do you have them anyway? You should always finish the course so you shouldn't have any left over) different antibiotics are more effective for different infections so you should always see a doctor to get the right ones prescribed.

Sorry, antibiotic misuse makes me ranty. Hope the gp is helpful op.

nochips · 15/04/2014 11:57

brill. marking place.[wails] why don't I get any good spots?

Oh sorry- hope you have some relief soon, poor thing.

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 12:00

Little investigation before judgeypants show. Tiny head oozing teeny amount of clear fluid... I've covered just the head with a spot plaster to try and coax it a bit, pains eased a tad too.

It was left over penicillin from my tonsillitis last month and I've been suitably bollocked (pun intended) by mother and dh.

OP posts:
VelmaD · 15/04/2014 12:22

Oooh sounds promising if its coming to a head and pain is dulling. Fingers crossed for a nice big pop at the GPs later.....

KatoPotato · 15/04/2014 12:25

Will the Gp have a go do you think? I went to out of hours a few years ago with a brute on my neck and he sent me home with anti bees!
