I think I will do sausage casserole, in white wine, with homegrown broad beans.....think white wine will go nicely with that too (actually wine goes well with any evening meal in the sparkle household)

Well I had my with an Asda chicken pie and mash - how common is that

Ps - it was a screwtop - I was just trying to sound posh

Ooo I love chicken pie, sometimes when dh is away I have a nice chicken leek pie from the coop (I meant the shop, for those of you who were concerned about my chickens....not put them in a pie....yet!)

Evening All !

Came home , went out again to B&Q and Tesco .
Came home again , went to bed for a couple of hours .

Woke up and you are all getting pissed without me !!!!!!

Have just popped dinner in the oven .
Making home made chicken kievs and new potatoes and veg .
Must be feeling ok , am up to both making dinner and eating it !!!

Don't think I shall be drinking though ...

I want food- the only time I have felt sick was when dinner arrived (I haven't the heart to tell nice waiter his food is minging so go through charade of ordering it and pretending I am sick).

But good you felt normal topsy as normal as you can be

Friend hopefully arriving soon with supplies.

topsy can you make chicken kiev without the goo coming out while you're cooking it? If so please tell me how . It's always been one of lifes' mysteries to me....

Will say goodbye for today...off to throw dc into bubble bath, at hospital with ds tomorrow, so if I don't make it on I will still be thinking of you.

Update from one of Ambers friends on Facebook .
She had a bad experience with security and got a bit kerfuffled .
She is in train on way home , but naturally doesn't feel up to posting just yet .

Feeling ok still esp as friend brought sandwich and mini gig is being a trooper as has thrown up spectacularly over daddy twice today

My next door neighbour has kindly lent me get anti sea sickness bands aswell incase I need then .

Sprung Friday as last chemo tomorrow but need 12 hours rehydration after. I will have to nag them to get on as only just finished it now for today as they faffed for two hours (and basically you need to get on the nurse alarm and strop or you get ignored as you are neither crying or dieing).

Thinking of you all.

Feeling a bit iffy so off to bed. Syringe driver had run out by 3 hours before being refilled and they had reduced my steroids so not sure if they are making me feel sick or I'm just tired.

Glad to hear topsy and gig seem to be coping well.

I haven't read through but thinking of everyone. Spotted amber is having a tough time - thinking of you and thinking of Autumn tomorrow

Also want to send best wishes - of course - to everyone having chemo and rads at mo. Hope the anti nausea stuff does its thing, and that Gig gets home promptly this time. Good to see Topsy okay. BTW, i loved the dress porn - Gracie - oyur dress is lovely for wedding. I might jsut have a wee look at DP website - see wot Topsy made me do .....

Sorry to see Amber having problems. Hope it all resolves very soon.

And all best wishes to newcomers to the thread, those with joint aches, anxiety, those waiting for results, with hospital appointments whether for self or loved ones, pending surgery, the winos (!!), anyone with shingles, anyone with a sore but getting better back, too much work to do, not ehough work to do, a driving test on Friday (esp if that person also has shingles), all the lurkers. There, is that everyone covered? hope so.
