Evening everyone and welcome to our new ladies.
Happy Birthday, what's left of it, to Greylady - I hope you're enjoying your special dinner, it sounded fab. As did the present from your DH, lucky you. I hope you're soreness has eased a little today. Sudocrem is a wondrous product and I'm sure it will help. Good luck with the 'airing' - I had to do that after radiotherapy turned my skin black and blistery, whilst the heating engineer was here installing a new boiler. I barricaded myself in the living room while DH brought me lots of
and FBS.
Gig, sorry to hear about the infection.
My scar (only about an inch of it) got infected three or four times (I lost count) and is finally on the mend but I still wear a gauze pad under my bra to stop it rubbing and breaking down. Laughing at Barbie Olympics.
KK, horrified at the antics of your neighbours, what a weird bunch!! Am intrigued about earth moving and piles of soil etc. My mum always made v.hot curries but used to serve them with finely chopped cucumber and tomato and a yoghurt sauce to cool the mouth down. Glad yours turned out well in the end.
Sending 'Good luck' wishes to probably for tomorrow. I hope it's good news.
MAS, I love the sound of your DH's book. I'm sure your illustrations will do it justice. What a responsibility though.
Smee, am giggling at thought of a minaret in your garden and being abseilled down.
Sparkle, chocolate cakes? Are there any left? I shouldn't really as I'm another one putting on weight and wondering if it's the letrozole or just the effects of overeating?
I haven't weighed myself for a while, too frightened of what I might see on the display. Eeek!!!
Jane, which breadmaker did you go for? You use yours a lot and are obviously pleased with the results. Would you recommend it?
Topsy am truly flabbergasted the BC nurse never got back to you. Have you tried again?
Am off for a hot bath in a mo. Too much gardening on Sunday - over three hours - and I am aching a lot a tad. I've also been giving our bearded collie extra grooming sessions following a telling off from the grooming lady because he was a bit knotted. It takes it's toll, all that bending down and brushing. I'm determined he will be knot free next time he goes so need to keep on top of it. Good exercise though.
