Bleeding through urethra when on period?? is this possible?TMI

I have endometriosis and for the past 6 months or so I have noticed I seem to have a small amount of blood on my pad higher up with a space between the usual blood when I am on my period. Could this be coming from where I wee? I do go to the hospital every 6 months but forgot to ask last week when I went..DOH!!! It may just be travelling alon the pad but for there to be a space inbetween seems wierd. I feel a bit of a div for asking but I do know that endo can get everywhere and was wondering if it could be in my bladder.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I bled from there when I had Cystitis.

I have googled it and one women had said she had the same problem..was in USA tho and she siad the doc laughed her out of the office...Its driving me mad!!

Have you tried wearing a tampon to see if it still happens?

Yes I have and it still happens so It maybe is my endo sprouting out somewhere else...God I hate being female sometimes..x

I would think it is only coming from where it should come from and travelling up the pad. If it was coming from other places I'm fairly sure it would happen when not on period, although I'm no expert.

I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN ITS JUST THERE IS A BIG GAP whoops sorry caps on...between the blood..a bit at the top of the pad and a space of about an inch then the obvs you get from a period in the middle of pad...god this is gross im so sorry.

My mum had similar - she had bleeding from the back passage when she had her period. Same as you though, there was a space on the pad. When she dscribed this to the GP he sent her cameras. She had to have an operation to reduce the endo

It could well be that the endo has developed within the bladder, its certainly possible. Please don't worry about someone else being laughed out of the dr's office, that doesn't mean you will be. Please do mention it to you GP

My friend had this and it was a kidney infection. Strangely, she didn't have any pain even though the infection was well advanced.

Thanks for your help...Mmmmm Imnotaslimjim it does sound similar to your mum but obvs another area the bleeding is coming from. I know its not a kidney infection as it only happens on my period.

Definitely see the GP, this is not something that should be going on for another 6 months before you get it treated.

I’ve had the same problem since giving birth.
I’ve always wondered if there was some sort of hole passing my menstruation blood to my urethra or clitoris.
I actually feel it coming out of there.
But not when I use a tampon.

Finally I found someone with my same issue! I have been searching the internet everywhere, I feel like I’m going insane! I had a c section in August of 2019 and right away when you wed after child birth for 6 weeks I had blood coming from both vagina area and urethra. And then every time I had my period i was bleeding out my urethra as well. Not a lot of blood but noticeable. Also during my pregnancy in March Of 2019 I started have some discharge from my urethra. They took urine samples but results came back normal. But recently I just went to the dr and they did a Pap smear and urine sample and everything came back negative and normal ! I am so frustrated! I know something is wrong. Also while I pee towards the end of my pee I feel a pressure or like a squeeze sensation in my bladder. Does anyone else have these problems ? Sorry for the long paragraph lol

Ive not had the bleeding thing, but am on anti bionics for a uni and im having that feeling at the end of peeing, it was very painful and started with a period. Ive not had a urine test as docs won't let me go in, so just started anti bs and seems to be clearing up.

We have the exact same story. I can SEE blood coming out of my pee hole during my period and I usually feel some pressure when it happens. I've had urine tests and a papa smear and everything came out normal and its so frustrating. If you ever do find out what is actually happening with you please let me know.

Oh my goodness I thought I was alone. I have had urethral discharge and my period from my urethra for years. I have had extensive tests too and nothing has been found. It's so strange. If anyone finds out the cause I'm desperate to know.

Please I am so happy I found you guys. I want to hug you. I'm scared I've had blood and a clot from urthertha after I ovulated. Then a wee or later I got my period. Its been coming out of my wee hole. Clots and everything. It sore when I wee. I had scans doc said I have fibroids. They will put a tube in my bladder to see and ct scan. Guys I'm so scared. I wanted to have children d was trying.

I have read about it and found something called endometriosis of the bladder. It's when the cells from your uterine endometriosis spread.

Sorry I’m so late I forgot my password but no I haven’t found any answers yet. My insurance has changed because I turned 26 and no longer in my moms insurance and I’m having problems finding another dr that’ll take my insurance. Have you found answers ?

I’m getting terrified though cause I’ve noticed that when I go pee that pressure or cramping feeling I had is getting worse. I’m terrified that it’s been going on so long that it scared my insides and future kids might not be an option or will be difficult to have

I am on same boat :( I was having irregular periods after some months i noticed bleeding from rectum during period i had no pains docs did normal blood tests and found nothing .. i got pregnant and lost baby at 18 weeks .. after delivering the baby i noticed bleeding from urethra too :(
I think im only in the world who is bleeding from vagina, urethra and rectum too now :( i have no pains but since then im miscarrying every pregnancy.. Recently doctor did MRI scan and found no endometriosis..
