Ahh, Mouse. Tough, tough call. I want to say something wise and sage and insightful to give you some/any clarity but jesus love, I don't know.
SaF sounds right that he is more likely to have eating issues the longer it is prolonged.
I think surgery sounds like the decision to make, from my stand point..for you all, but that is a hell of a lot different to making that decision.
Sweetheart you are never mardy love. Putting the worry aside, cleaning up puke every single day in a state of exhaustion.... you humble me, you truly do,

Mouse - the operation looks like an excellent solution but I understand the risks must weigh heavily on your mind.

From a personal point of view having had severe reflux when I was pregnant, I have to say the pain is horrendous, I had it where I used to throw up repeatedly, just bile, hateful and your throat hurts so much you can't sleep, eat etc. So to me the operation would be the route I would go.

From having Mole and seeing her so distressed because of it then again I think Id go for the op.

Can you talk with the dr to put your mind at rest at all? It depends what the risks would be and what percentage I suppose.

Not an easy decision at all Sad ]

BrianAndHisBalls · 27/10/2010 13:22

dubs - dc are so irritating, dd1 does it on purpose, everytime i feed the baby she says 'cuddle' or 'juice' Hmm

although will miss her as my parents are stealing her tonight till Friday Shock I would have said no, only one night but my d asked dd1 first so of course then she was all 'yay, can i? can i?' Hmm again.

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 27/10/2010 13:55

Dubs - I LOVE YOU MOVE HERE!!!!

All - I will sign the forms, it's ALWAYS a risk.... but a risk that I have to take to improve the quality of his life.

I need to get an appointment with his gastro cons and go through loads more tests before they will do the procedure.

A long way to go yet.

And I love you all for caring xx

WallowsInFlies · 27/10/2010 13:55

my ds missed me once.

tv unit is BUILT. my hands are fucked.

and bitter - i love you x

mittz · 27/10/2010 14:00

How is Dubs bullying you on FB Brian... or is it one of those closed account things?

I am cleaning, tidying etc. Not liking my DC's much today either. DS was a rat bag earlier and I feel flat from being ill. I know I too should do something but feel too meh. I wish my parents wanted their GC for a while.

And when I cough up stuff it's had a bit of blood in it.

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 27/10/2010 14:24

BitterAndTwistedGoreDodger · 27/10/2010 14:26

I am having a cup of tea while DS washes up and DH finishes papering the front hall.

My boys are well trained. Smile

Yay for DIY Saf, I used to assemble a mean flat pack.
