Sorry for the rubbish title.

Hello, I am Bitter and have 3 or 4 lb to lose.

Whether you have a lot or a little to lose, join in for lots of chat and some healthy eating.

All welcome, as long as you have something to say. Smile

Brian - minced beef, can of chopped toms, garlic, tom puree, sprinkle of mixed urbs, splash of worcester sauce, dash of tobasco, half a chopped onion, let it simmer for about 2 or 3 hours. Reduce it right down but add a little water about every half hour, then keep reducing.

YUM!!!

I have just picked a fight on the pink sock thread. Oh dear......

hey brian. unlike you to look on the bright side of illness - mind it is my illness, not yours so an entirely different matter Grin

i don't use sauces in bolognese, i do use pesto sauce and carbonara sauce ready made though. bertolli for the former and coops own for the latter.

smells much fresher in here i notice Smile

good luck with PIL's mouse, rather you than me. think someone was chatting me up yesterday. he was offering to cook for me and do household jobs that need doing (carpenter/joiner). and he has the same name as superdad/domestic goddess man.

WallowsInFlies · 21/10/2010 21:23

brian trick is passata or whatever it's called, basically sieved tomato i think so no skin or lumps.

i start with onion and garlic, then the meat to brown a bit then add the sieved tomatoes and basil and a bit of soy sauce. bit of tabasco too if ds isn't eating with me and a drop of red wine if there's any kicking around.

WallowsInFlies · 21/10/2010 21:25

What a way to start the day Double x

I kiss my dc's everywhere on their faces, eyes, cheeks, foreheads, noses, Smile

I only do greetings kisses if someone else initiates it and on the cheek.

Men. Not for a while but I quietly pride myself on being a sensual soul kisser. I can turn the world both black and white and iridescent. Because kissing matters. A kiss with no other body parts touching would make me fall over......

A well done frenchie is profound. I compliment you on your kiss Dee.. I will be smiling privately to myself all day xx

BrianAndHisBalls · 22/10/2010 08:44

what have i missed??

WallowsInFlies · 22/10/2010 08:48

nice to be greeted by a whole lot of double - despite the 'spolling' Grin

i just kiss my son and friends nowadays. romantically i'm an intense soul kisser too. and the kiss is everything, if the kiss isn't perfect things go no further because i know the rest won't work either iyswim. can read a person through a kiss.

me and bitter did one of those awkward went to kiss on the cheek to say goodbye but both went in different directions and ended up kissing on the lips awkwardly moments the other day - and this after discussing whether her dh thought we were having an affair Smile

WallowsInFlies · 22/10/2010 08:49

morning brian and mittz.

i have to take my son off to be stabbed in the leg by the HV today but he's full of cold so wondering if it's a good idea.

TheMittzressOfMystery · 22/10/2010 08:58

Oh me too WIF, carp kissers get marching orders... (if they've kissed carps though, would be pretty dodgy..
Hmm about jab for DS, might not be the best idea if he is already run down.

Have had to come back with DD from school. Her asthma is appalling. I think it might be a long winter. Bless her Sad
