morning all Smile

fell asleep on the sofa with the heating on all night. sinuses are buggered and have guilty feeling about having used so much gas.

and the bloody cat woke me up at about 6.

need a little while to wake up and clear my head then i need a mad push on furniture and stuff. blah.

mittz · 26/10/2010 07:38

My dreams were X rated last night and I'm blaming ---> YOU Double!!

Sounds like an interesting day SaF, you probably get talked to because you have a empathetic aura, I'd love to work with the elderly again, they rock Smile.

Mouse oh you fabulous clever woman re Nemo (and anyway).

Sorry your family are pants Brian, one always lives in hope that they will just be different for once. Sad We love you lovey and see your light xx

Double Sad re DS. You hope and hope they will resist the temptation to go with the crowd . DS is making some really bad decisions at the moment and it is breaking my heart. We have worked so hard together, I cracked the stuff in the village because I am here geographically, but the school stuff is in danger of crashing down. Sad I am mad and sad. Because he has endured so much at 12 he just thinks 'sod it, why should I hold back ' and then HE gets into trouble because he over reacts.

Hopefully with your DS it will be easily nipped in the bud.

I bought a bag from a charity shop yesterday for £2 and it is worth £50! I am going to use it for a while and then put it away for DD when she is much older..it is a Jaeger one. I have started a vintage stuff collection for her for her 18th.

mittz · 26/10/2010 07:40

Smile hey SaF.. can you stand at the front door for a while and deep breathe? It helps DS a bit.. x

WallowsInFlies · 26/10/2010 07:48

as soon as the sun is up and it warms a bit i'll get all the windows open whilst i work mittz. thanks.

do you mean ds is standing up for himself because of having taken loads in the past and that when he does so he gets in trouble for it? is he sort of over asserting? maybe it's one extreme to the other then he'll find his way in the middle?

AliceandtheGinormousBaps · 26/10/2010 07:57

Hello Smile

Virtual cheese and cake anyone?

WallowsInFlies · 26/10/2010 08:07

it's a bit of both SaF... he has been teased relentlessly that he slashes his wrists because he dyed his hair black Hmm. So having tried to endure it he has started 'giving as good as he gets' and then some, which gets attention. He hasn't really had a good week at school this term yet Sad and he has reached a point where he is disregarding the teachers because he says when he tries to pout his point of view across they won't listen.

If they lose his confidence in them we are stuffed. He is very black and white. (like his Dad)

The issue of him dying is hair is a fair point..(bought up at school) he was going to draw attention to himself, but how much for how long? (tears own hair out)

WallowsInFlies · 26/10/2010 08:44

he'll get through.

school is a bit of a sausage factory and we're not all sausage shaped so being mangled through the wrong shaped hoops can be awkward or painful or a very testing time.

he'll come out the other side.

I like the analogy of DS being a sausage SaF Grin.

Hey double Smile x

WallowsInFlies · 26/10/2010 09:36

not being a sausage is the point. in the long run he'll be glad of it. who wants to be a bloody sausage? or raise sausages? x

same weather here double. i need to get my butt into doing this furniture. sounds like you're having a productive half term - do you like sitting room better now you've rearranged?

HammerMouseOfHorrors · 26/10/2010 09:47

Morning all.

Lovely to see you Alice and you brought gifts!! Well trained! Hope F is as gorgeous as ever, and DD xx

Well, Nemo slept through the WHOLE night in HIS OWN BED!!!!! MrM slept in the study which is a good thing as I had a huge head fuck 4-6.30am.

Why can't I stay asleep? Docs tomorrow. Going to get some real help with this lack of sleep and MrM has agreed that he'll have Nemo for at least half of the week so I can just pass out. [hsmile]

Dubs - hope the childers find something to do today, it's grey and windy and cold here. Yuk!!

DD is at her friends in Manc all day and MrM is out interviewing again so it's just me and Nemo and the jack hammer out front!! [hgrin]

Ah, that's better. Not enough snoggin on here these days.

Oh, and Brian, this is for you
