Hello. I'm Mouse and have some weight to lose. The amount changes all the time but hey! We're all like that aren't we?

No rules. No clique. Just ladies trying to keep the winter bulk at bay!

Come meet the rest of the LIGHTer ladies, they're lovely. Smile

you mean me double? Wink

sorry to hear your news saf.

I must admit I look back to days and nights in the past and wonder where the time went, and where that particular me went. I don't think I was any happier then, going out all the time, the drinking, the men, the freedom Grin but I'm at such the opposite end of the scale now that I sometimes feel I'm waiting for god!!

examples:

i skyplus bargain hunt
i do cross stitch
ive had sex 3 times in 9 months
i like looking round antique shops
ive started watching antiques roadshow
as bitter says, when its sunny i think 'dp could put the washng out' Grin
i get excited by a dvd and a takeaway on a friday night
i now wear a coat out and sensible shoes.

As tc says its a weird balance between domesticity and adventure.

on that cheery note i'll shut up Grin

Afternoon. My parents have been and gone.

DM was telling me about her friend who 'doesn't enjoy' looking after her GC and how 'shocking' she found it.Hmm

She really does live on another planet.

Right, Laundry.

Mouseface · 02/10/2010 13:04

Double - she wasn't thick, oh no, she was fucking clueless!!! And her hubby? Hmm. Let's just leave that there shall we. Grin

I'm starved. I hate pre peroid munchies. I want crisps too SAF.

Going to go get some. And something to drink. Juice.

Tonight we are having the weirdest combo.....

prawn cocktail, chicken in pandanass (SP) leaves and chilled prawns with rice.
I just fancy a mix of things so that's what I'm making!!

Odd, very odd. Grin

More laundry.

double i feel your pain, dd1 whines so much whereever we go that its easier just not to bother. You spend the whole time saying 'i don't know how much longer we're going to be' 'put that down' 'dont touch that!' 'you've only walked 3 steps how can you be tired???' arghhh

nct sale was ok got £110.00 so after 30% to them not too bad. Got lots stuff back unsold too, ort books, the aquarium swing, moses basket etc so will chuck all that on ebay i think.

got about 15 suitcases full of ebay stuff, a lot of it baby clothes that moles never worn because she's always in a babysuit and she's fat Grin

any ideas what to do with stuffed toys? have 100s and a lot have never been touched/are brand new with tags. Would a charity like them or do they get loads? Am trying to give lots of baby gros etc to Women's Aid, not sure they'd want cuddly toys though?

Cuddly toys are a hard one as lots of places won't take them due to H&S and the fact that they can't be wiped clean.

I'd say a children charity. Or charity shop who can sell them on. Banardo's?

Double - yes, arm candy indeed, he was older with 5 kids. They had one together called Dolce.

Nice. Grin

Hello. DD won't nap and DS is slowly driving me mad. Ho Hum, at least I get to go to work this evening. Hmm

mittz · 02/10/2010 14:48

I've been and come back.
I love and loathe Sports direct in equal measures.

I have the film The Piano to watch tonight, so it will be petticoats and lace up corsets for me tonight..I am also feeling a frisson at the thought of the finger in the hole in the stocking scene!!

I am OK. Ish. A bit flat in some ways. My tongue really hurts where I bit it and I still have earache. Congestion has thankfully gone but a wee bit chesty now.

Am drinking copious fluids.

Sorry about Ex's Dad SaF... The warp is the past into which we weave the threads of our present. Sometimes taking time to neaten the loose ends and working on what may appear to be the 'boring' bits are as valuable as the glittery and rich threads that give our lives pattern and texture Smile xx
